In 7 years I’ve been to Atlanta I have forgotten that there is such a thing as an excellent customer service, talented and caring hair stylists and reasonable prices – all in one! I was extremely happy to discover Defforge Saloon – it not only met but exceeded my expectations! As a matter of fact, I am not only returning I am recommending this place to all of my friends and co-workers and I am taking my 3-year old daughter for a fancy and affordable haircut there today!

I lived in New York for four years and never found a salon as wonderful as Defforge. Even on my first visit, everyone treated me like an old friend. I had my brows waxed and eyelashes dyed by Milla who made the experience as relaxing and refreshing as having a full facial. Next up was a haircut by Sergey - the best haircut I've ever had. They both took their time and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I can't wait to go back!

I went to Defforge Salon after reading the great reviews here. I just moved back to the area from South Beach. My last haircut was a disaster, with the stylist at a high end SoBe salon misunderstanding my desire to "keep the length" and cut off about 8". Now I'm trying to grow it out, and have been hesitant to cut it at all after the last bad experience. I had an appointment with Kathy this morning, who gave me a really cute & trendy cut that I can wear while I'm growing my hair out. Short, flippy with lots of layers. My appointment started with a brief but reassuring consultation, so I knew she understood what I was looking for, and I felt confident she could deliver. A great shampoo and scalp massage (my fave part of a haircut) was followed by a great cut, styling with instructions on how to do it at home, and once dry, a last touch up on some spots in my thick hair that once dry, looked a little heavy. Kathy is a perfectionist - and I'm glad! My hair is fabulous, and I can't wait for my friends to see it. So much so, I am re-thinking growing it out, I may just keep this cut for awhile. The entire staff at Defforge were friendly and professional. Sergi called me on Monday when they were closed to respond to my email request for an appointment first thing Tuesday. I can't tell you how impressed I was. And, it took that post-coif disaster fear away! This may have been the most positive experience I've ever had in a salon. I came home with the cut I asked for, and the ability to do it myself. I highly recommend Kathy and the Defforge Salon. I even made an appointment for 2 weeks from now for color!

I have been looking forever for a stylist who will listen to me, give me great recommendations, and teach me how to do my hair after I leave. I have finally found him!!! Sergiy did everything you expect from a top notch salon. In addition to the great work Sergiy did with my hair, the prices were fair, everyone else at the salon is so friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend and will never go anywhere else again.

The space is beautiful, open, friendly and chic. I'd been here before but it's been a few years...the whole place has a new personality now...so much better than before. Milla gave me the best facial, I'm still glowing from it and it's been a few weeks.. Microdermabrasion, oxygen facial, all of it was so relaxing and the result is fantastic. I gave Sergiy an idea of what I wanted for my haircut and color, and I couldn't be happier with what he did. I've recommended Defforge to all of my friends and family - it was an overall fabulous experience.

Pros: one-stop shop for skin and hair revival

I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who would value a great service.the atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly .Sergey did an excellent work on my hair.The hair cut he gave me was stunning.My hair looks amazing and he took interest and gave me lot of styling tips.I would say this is one of the best salons.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about the talent, the atmosphere and the service in this salon. I have tried many salons in the North Fulton area, and have not been satisfied with the results until I went to Defforge Salon and Spa. Prior to my going there, my hair had been damaged by other salons through overprocessing of color and bad haircuts (I have fine hair, and it doesn't style "just like everyone else's"). Sergey, the owner, took time and care to explain what happened to my hair, and how to fix it. It has only been 3 months, and my hair has never looked, or felt better. He has an "eye" for knowing the right shade for my complexion and my style...he studied my hair to understand exactly how it grows. He communicates and educates. Not only do I look and feel great when I leave the salon, but I can go home and know that I will be able to style my hair the way he demonstrated. And if you want a great facial, need something waxed, or desire some other spa-oriented relaxation, ask for Mila, his wife. She will make you feel like family!

Pros: Talent, Service, Products Used, Willingness to educate and communicate, Friendliness

Cons: Salon is in the corner of a shopping center, so you can't see it driving by.

I've been to many salons throughout the country and have only been impressed by a few. Defforge is wonderful and Kathy is by far, the best stylist and colorist I've ever had!! She took special care to make me look and feel beautiful and I knew instantly I was in expert hands. She's definitely a 10 in my book!

I have recently visited defforge salon and I was very pleased with my service. They really know how to roll the red carpet and value their clients. I was pleased with the color and the hair cut I received from Lucie. She took her time in her consultation phase and really listened to what I was looking. I was very please with the result and I'll definitely come back and would recomend the salon to my friends. If you are looking for a competent and professional environment, Defforge salon and Spa is the place to go. Although I did not get a chance to experience their spa services, I heard from close friends that Mila is very experienced and competent at her services. A facial will definitely be my next treat:)

This salon was great. I went last week to Serge, picked the salon out of citysearch and they lived up to par. AMAZING CUT, perfect color, and you have to get the New Hair Treatment- 5 days later and my hair still feels uncommonly healthy! I have very fine hair and it's always breaking and dry but after this treatment I don't even recognize it. The salon makes you feel like family and the owner is sweet as pie. I will definitely return. Top-notch and very down to earth.

Pros: Greate staff, eazy to get to (near 400 hwy)
