We loved the place. Its a hole in the wall family burger place. The special burger is served on buttery toast and is delicious. We will be going back again very soon.
WHERE'S THE BEEF

Nothing exciting about eating at this whole in the wall. The cook flattens out the hamburger on the grill making it less than 1/4" thick. Now what good cook would ever flatten out a hamburger patty till its 1/4 " thick just so it fits the bun..
I doubt there is 1/5 lb of meat in their burger. Must be trying to compete with those little krystal burgers.
Other than the mini burger complaint the buns, cheese, lettuce, onions, and tomato makes for a pretty tasty burger despite the shortage of meat.
- Pros: Fast Service
- Cons: Hamburger patty way to small
Great burgers made to order
by 1911guy
I love this place. It's their way or the highway but guaranteed good every time and made to order. Impossible to drive past Rhea's to go to some chain joint.
- Pros: Can't pass up a landmark burger joint.
- Cons: None
best burger, hands down
by mmcenery
I love burgers, but places like McDonalds and even nicer restaurants like Fuddruckers and Fridays don't even come close to the goodness of a Rhea's special. Not even the $12 "big a$$ burger" (they won't let you write that word) from Two Urban Licks, which was very good, tops the $2.95 Rhea's special. The staff is great, too. Even though some of the servers don't speak English very well, they know enough to take your order. Plus, they are always very friendly and ready to get whatever you need. Where else can you get such a satisfying meal for less than $6? Regardless of price, this is still the best burger EVER.
Great burgers

Scary part of town? You mean just North of Historical Area and just South of the $300-600K homes? You scare easily :)
I love these burgers, even though they are a heart attack on a plate.
this place is lame...

I can't believe I ate here even after I pulled in and some scumbag was working on his car in the parking lot and the staff spoke about 2 words of english...Not only would I not eat here again I wouldn't even drive within 5 miles of this part of town...
- Pros: cheap...But so is McDonalds...I'd rather go there
- Cons: Staff can't speak english, scary part of town, very scummy

I Can honestly say I have never tasted a better burger, regardless of the price. The fries, also cooked to perfection make my mouth water in 7th period @ Roswell High School (By the Crossville location) and just can't wait to get down there for a Rhea's Special, no mustard. Just Awesome
- Pros: Value, Great Food, EVERYTHING ELSE
- Cons: hmmm?, ummmm?, Nope, nothing
One of the Best Burgers in Town
by locvji
I have eaten at Rhea's since I was 5 one the way to school with my dad. It was a great childhood memory and is still a great place to have a relaxed hometown meal.
Not the best only better than fast food
by stwimu
This is not the best in Atlanta. The one thing that bothered me was that the burgers are all grey, there is no asking for a medium burger. They don't over cook it, because it is wet and gray. Not bad but not the best. Save that for Ann's or the Earl or even the Vortex.
Bad-Rude Service
by lambo_so_fast
My co-workers and I enjoyed Rhea's until we were finished with our meal. After eating, we were talking for a few moments, when the cook told us to leave stating that he needed the parking spaces. At the time, there wasn't a crowd, and no one waiting for tables. The place was half empty. We were not disturbing others, so what was the problem? This rudeness will prohibit from returning and recommending Rheas.
- Cons: , rude service, rude service
