Buying a car...was a blast!
by AdrianaR
My Dad told me buying a car could be easy if we went to the right place; he was right! We went to Ed Voyles and our entire visit from start to driving away in my new Civic took less than two hours. They played no pricing games; helped me find what I wanted at a price I could afford. The entire experience was awesome, unlike the experiences my friends have had and nothing like the stories I've heard from people about buying a car. I had shopped several other Honda stores in Roswell, Woodstock, and Cartersville. Every where else used "car selling tactics" straight out of the movies on me. Richard Wade, my salesman, was the consummate professional. The managers were not at all what I had experienced elsewhere, they were helpful and couldn't have been nicer. I really didn't even need my Dad! I would recommend Ed Voyles Honda to anyone looking for a fast and pleasant buying experience. They are cool...
- Pros: Best Car Dealership in Atlanta
- Cons: NONE
Beware the "Bait & Switch"!
by GrayJD
My salesman (Bob Newsome) was great: friendly, helpful, low-pressure. I signed a lease on a new car and left the dealership happy. BUT, one month later, I was called back in to sign a new lease. The first one had been rejected by Honda. The dealership took the opportunity to change the terms, including the sales price of the car, which is the basis for the monthly lease payment. The finance staff turned up the heat and said I could sign the new lease or leave them my car. Be careful with these guys. You may think you have a good deal when you sign your paperwork, but they'll call you back in later to do it over again; only it won't be anything like the deal you agreed to. You'll have to sign their new deal or leave them your car. Buy your Honda somewhere else!
- Pros: Sales staff
- Cons: Finance department
Great deal on a barely used vehicle
by chinesecateater
Me and my father checked this place out after almost a year of car shopping. they had a very nice black 08 mustang with only 3k miles for a GREAT price. After a nice test drive and speaking with my friendly salesman, I honestly felt like an appreciated consumer by these people. No crazy sales tactics, I told them what we wanted and after a nice little discount, the car was well within my price range and even on kelly blue book, it turned out to be a great deal. Now granted I DO NOT SERVICE MY CAR THERE because my warrenty is honored by FORD too (So i take if there because im sure they know how to service a ford better than a honda dealership can.) So im a happy camper and i still love my car to death. Great finance plans too.
- Pros: Great price & an extra discount.
- Cons: Prefer not to get my car serviced there for brand reasons

A very Expensive Mistake

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with ANY type sales transaction. The salesman was pushy, but I was willing to overlook that. The car was NEVER serviced the entire time they they had it. The oil had not been changed in over 5000 miles and I had to INSIST that the oil be changed before I took posession of it. I have had to bring it back to their worthless service department 1-2X weekly since I purchased my vehicle. I approached the manager and while always nice to my face he will never return my phone calls or e-mails. I have had to drive out to Smyrna to finally track him down. He is worthless and has been very little (if any) help at all!!! Consider yourself warned. They do not take very good care of their customers or their product.
- Pros: absolutly none!!
- Cons: Every aspect of their business

Two Hours That We'll Never Get Back
by bjeng
We found an ad in the local paper for a vehicle, but it was 45 minutes away. To save on time, we asked Ed Voyles Honda if they could match the offer. They assured us that they could and proceeded to show us all of the vehicles to choose from. We made our choice and then began the paperwork. After siging all of the papers, they informed us that the offer was for a vehicle with a lesser trim package. Not a problem, we still thought it was a good deal. However, the sales manager wouldn't sign off on the deal unless we produced the newspaper ad. They called the competitor and confirmed the ad, but insisted on having a copy of it. What a complete waste of our time!
ED VOYLES SELLS NEW CARS THAT HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENTS W/O DISCLOSURE!!!STAY AWAY!!!!
by sejuf95
Ed Voyles is the most dishonest car dealership I've ever come accross. They've sold a car that was believed to be bought NEW, when the owners tried to trade it in they discovered a car fax report showing an accident 20 days before they bought the car.
Now, instead of making it right for the custormer, they are trying to lie their way out of it. Stay away from Ed Voyles Honda and their dishonest, unethical sales practices!!!!!
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: Dishonest, Unethical
Good dealership until contract time
by rksprgs
Ed Voyles Honda appeared to be selling me a 2006 Accord LX at a very fair price until we were deeply into the paperwork. One document forces you to agree to binding arbitration. This means you agree you cannot get a trial by jury, ever, for any reason. This is a basic American right that is only good for companies, not for individuals.
They told me I would not find another dealership in town that did not also insist on this. This is not true. Curry Honda includes an arbitration clause in their contract, but you can opt out of this.
Good Dealership
by gc76
I just purchased a 2006 Honda Accord from Ed Voyles Honda. I liked how they did most of the communication via e-mail (which I preferred), were extremely responsive but never pushy, and gave me a good price for the car. I had done my internet research online and they gave me one of the best quotes. They pulled no punches - the final drive out price they gave me was the final drive out price.
great dealership
