lisa jordon is the best!

i called the salon to schedule with lisa jordon; a friend referred me to her and i was so happy. it was the cut/color i needed to get me in a better mood. i was feeling a little down and called the salon at the last miniute and am very thankful lisa was able to see me the same day. she listened to my ways of styling and gave a few suggestions. it was an excellent cut. she knows what it is all about. thanks lisa.

i was very impressed with the salon and felt like everyone really cared about me and showed me around the area. i will return and hope everyone who reads this will give elon salon a try. change is good.

I have been to Salon Elon several times. I have had decent blond highlights done, but it is very inconsistent. You pay a lot of money, and then "the assistants" who are in learning apply your color. The last time I was there in July, I was left with the color on for an extended length of time and then I got up to find the stylist and they put someone in my seat. When I was getting the color put on at the shampoo sink, they again asked me to move. My eybrows were waxed and they ended up being uneven. I am still paying for that one.

The Best Salon in GA!!!

I have been going to Elon for years. I drive 2 hours one way just to go there. Debbie has always been my stylist and she is AMAZING. I have never been disappointed when leaving this salon. She did my hair for my wedding and a lot of other life changing events since I have been going to her. If you ever are not happy with something, they fix it! I will never go to another salon, and as long as debbie is there, another hair stylist. Everyone there is personable and professional at the same time.

This place is horrible! Had my hair cut and colored. The color did not go all the way to the roots and the cut was bad. I have sort of a pixie style hair cut with the front being a little longer. The back was not cut short enough. Went back to get it fixed. Needless to say, worse than before. The cut is completely uneven, had to tell the stylist that one part looked chopped off. She tried to fix it, but now that side is a lot shorter than the other. I've had bad haircuts before but this tops the cake. Now I have to let it grow out. In my opinion, if you have to return for a service that you paid for, you should not go back a third time. All I want now is my money back. l called and conviently the owner and managers were gone for the day. My hair is not blended and it looks like she put a bowl on my head and cut my hair. We'll see what happens when I call back on Monday. I am so upset, I feel like sitting in front of the salon with a sign reading "The will f... your hair up. Do not go in!"

Love Ray!

I came in to see Ray and I just LOVED the hair color he did! Ive gotten several compliments on it, and my husband even noticed! I recomend Ray for anyone who wants amazing color!

The 'wORST" Salon EVER!!!

First let me say this was done over a year ago and I didn't know about citysearch to leave a complaint. I had seen Ray, the colorist 2 times and came in for a third highlight job. To be honest the first to times my color was perfect. The third time was the worst thing that has ever happened in my life. Ray helped the assistant put in my foils in my hair and then left her to do my second color. I thought when she was putting the second color on my hair it was running all over the place. It had never done that before, but I kept my mouth shut...BIG MISTAKE. When my hair was done I noticed Ray looking at his assistant as he was combing my hair. I knew something was wrong. As he continue to comb my hair I noticed big black dots on my blonde hair. I asked him what happend and he told me it would go away. I said I have my daughter's graduation coming up in two days and I don't want big black dots on my blonde hair and what can he do about it. He told me he would do my hair over in various places to get rid of them...another BIG MISTAKE!!! He and his assistant work so quickly and didn't even hightlight my hair they were just taking big clump and putting bleach on it. I asked him why he was doing all my hair and he said, "well you want all the black dots out". I figured he knew what he was doing...WRONG!!! When my hair was done it was all BLEACHED out with black roots here and there. I almost died. As I was touching my hair it was falling out in litte clumps. I started crying and he got the owner (the husband) to come and talk to me. He wanted to put brown color on my hair and I said how can you do another process on my hair as it is already coming out. He had no feelings of what was going on with me and asked me if I need to go into the bathroom to cry. Heck no...let everyone in the salon see what Ray and his assistant did. Ray didn't know what to do and was only worried about his clients that now where getting back up. Still crying, I walked out of the salon not knowing what was going to happen to my hair. I called my daughter and she contacted her salon in Buckhead and they told her not to put any type of color on my hair and to come in for a intense condtitioning treatment as it sounded like it was over processed. I ended up going to Spa Venesa in Woodstock and they were in shock what my hair looked like. They said it felt like mush when it was wet. It has been over a year now and with the help of them, I never lost my hair. They thought there might be a possiblity of that. I have told this story to many customers there and have heard horror stories about Elon salon and their color teams. Let me tell you I have been highlights in my hair for over 30 years and have never had this happen before. I would have to say don't ever go to that salon as you are taking the BIGGEST risk of your life. Also, I never heard from Ray, or the owner to see how I was doing and both of them never even said they were sorry. The salon in Buckhead said they have had many customers come in to have their color fixed from Elon Salon. What a reputation they have. If I could give them no rating for way below I would but this site makes you give them at least a one. They deserve a minus 100.

I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS THAT THINK YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT DOING HAIR GOT YOUR INFORMATION FROM IF YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT HAIR THEN WHY DONT YOU JUST DO IT YOURSELF??? I HAVE BEEN GOING TO ELON FOR YEARS AND ITS A GREAT SALON THEY HAVE NOTHING BUT THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CLIENT IN MIND!! AND ALL OF THE ASSISTANTS "ARE'' LICENSED!!!!!!!!!!! AND A LITTLE MORE INFORMATION YOUR MASTER STYLIST YOU PAY TO SEE WAS ONCE AN ASSISTANT! EVERY STYLIST THAT WORKS IN THERE STARTED AS AN ASSISTANT ITS JUST PART OF THE PROCESS!!!! JUST SOMETHING FOR YOU ALL TO THINK ABOUT!!!!

So Unhappy..bad experience

I received a gift certificate to ES for a free cut, color and style. I should have know better but I have heard "good things" about this place. So i took a chance...NEVER again! I actually spent quite a bit of time reading about this place and all the "wonderful" ways they pamper you and help you find the color and style you are looking for. The receptionist was unfriendly...seemed too buysy to be bothered. My stylist was unfriendly and had an attitude. No personality. The yound lady that washed my hair after my color was done was nice. Then i was sent back to the firt stylist...still attitude. My hair is not the color I wanted. She kept telling me my cut and color "popped" now...I dont want my hair to pop. Seriously. So I will deal with this mess I am left with and never stray from my stylist again!!

Worst salon experience of my life!!

They are absolutely horrible! Do not go there! The "stylist" Janice cut my hair so short that she actually gave me a mullet! It looks like someone closed his eyes, took a chunk from the back of my hair and chopped it off two inches away from my scalp. I called them back for another appointment to fix it. Dee Dee was horrible. She made me wait an hour. Then she attempted to fix my hair. She took literally 10 minutes and after that it looked exactly the same! They are the worst salon i've ever been to in my entire life!! Fantastic sams would have done a better job. I want my money back! Oh, also, they are extremely unfriendly and too expensive for their lack of skill. They are absolutley terrible!
