and I paid entirely to much for it- $60. It looked like a super short version of Posh Spice's haircut- not appropriate for a male lawyer. I asked her to be careful in the back because last time when she cut the hair on my nape it was jagged and uneven- not a good look for a man's haircut. So instead of leaving it a little longer like I asked her to this time, she cut down to almost an 1/8th of an inch on the back part of my head and nape and the line still wasn't even. I left the salon with wet hair that was combed down, so I couldn't really see the damage. The front was past my eyebrows the back was super short. When I got home, I realized what my hair looked like and got it recut at DASS Salon-$30. It took some serious time and major hair cutting for Ryan at Dass to fix it, but he did a great job under the circumstances. I will not be going back to Collie for over priced bad haircuts. My girlfriend had been nagging me not to pay $60 dollars for haircuts that have been consistently bad over the past year. I feel bad saying this b/c Collie has cut my hair for ten years and some of the cuts have been great, but this was a big disaster. I've finally had enough of Three-13.
Pros: the paraffin, massage, and Collie has a sweet personality
Cons: bad haircut, over priced, don't listen

I am very apprehensive about letting anyone "mess" with my hair - it's long & fine & dark blonde, & I wanted natural-looking highlights, which is apparently very difficult to do in my hair without looking fake and/or damaging it terribly. I asked everyone I know which salon they recommend, & 313 was not only the only salon recommended by more than one person, it was overwhelmingly recommended by people from all walks of life, all parts of the city, all age groups, both sexes, & all manner of personal styles. The only thing against them that I ever heard was that they can be pricey; you get (in experience) what you pay for. Michael colored my hair, & over 2 weeks later, it still looks beautiful, is soft & silky, & garners compliments from everyone, even people who have known me forever & prefer the "natural" look. Daniel cut my hair & did a great job, even convincing me to put one long layer into it (a big step for someone who's had one-length hair for over a decade!) -- it looks great & has proved to be as easy to style as he promised. The paraffin hand treatment is fabulous, as are the other "extras" -- scalp massage & such. When I was there, they were running an Anniversary Special that included a free "Hi-Gloss" treatment, which is probably part of the reason my hair is still so silky & shiny. The Paul Mitchell shampoo & conditioner Michael recommended were waiting for me at the check-out counter (nice touch), & were reasonably priced; there was no pressure to buy any products, just suggestions. This was, by far, the nicest salon/spa experience I've ever had, & I will definitely return. I am recommending them to all my friends as well, which is proving easy, given how great my hair looks!
Pros: Quality of service, pampering, very attentive staff

Im new to the area and needed a new do and after doing an internet search, I decided to try three-13. The place is a bit overwhelming at first...there are loads of sytlist, chairs etc. Sort of makes it feel almost like a drive thr at first (i was concerned that i wasn't going to get quality service). however, once you get settled in the treatment is EXCELLENT! The scalp massage and parafin wax treatment are great extras. I went to Natascha for a hair cut. I took my long hair and made it short. She listened to what I wanted and got a great short , fun, flirty hairsytle. She was very knowledgable (she's been there 10 years). She listened to what I wanted and the lifestyle i have (ie i didn't want a high maintenance cut. The end results were an AWESOME haircut. She took off over 10 inches. There is a large area of stuff for sale by the check out counter and i was worried about during check out, that they might pressure me into buying stuff...but nope, they didn't. The cut wasn't the cheepest (she was a master stylist) but in all honestly..i'd rather pay more and get good quality service. I would go back again...and definately recommend Natascha. She was GREAT! I was impressed with everything in the end. The initial concerns i had when i walked in the door, were diminshed after a few short minutes of being there.
Pros: great stylist, young hip atmosphere, parafin wax trt and scalp massage for free are nice
Cons: master stylist price is slightly high...but honestly well worth it for a good cut

Definitely worth the $$! I have been going there for over 7 years and have NEVER walked out of there disappointed. Yes, it is pretty artsie on the inside, but I promise you they know what they are doing. Each stylist LISTENS to the client. Make sure you go there with an open ear and be willing to accept suggestions/ideas. They will not do something that is out of your comfort zone.
Pros: Creativity, Comfort in knowing they are experienced and hair is their passion
Cons: Little overwhelming at first for the conservative group

I love Three-13. My boyfriends sister showed me the place and I fell in love. It's so cute and funky. I went to Georgia to get my hair colored and I loved it! Red has never stayed in my hair untill I went to her. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair color ever agian. Naomi did my haircut. It was perfect. I took off over 5 inches but I don't regret it after going to her. I highly recommend both of them. The wait was very short, sometimes I wish it was a little longer so I could sit down with a drink on there comfy couch. Everyone is very helpful as well. I don't think they are pricey at all. Reasonably priced if you ask me. It's worth the drive as well. I drive an hour every time.
Pros: atmosphre, drinks, head message, the set-up, big comfy couch, amazing magazines, staff

I have been going to 3 13 forever. Collie does my hair, Candace does my face, Megan DID my color (she has left). They listen and they care! The price is well worth it! My favorite is the neck massage..LOVE it and them!
Pros: The experience is pampering
Cons: Price..but worth it

Since moving from Michigan, I have been looking for a great pedicure. I've been to other spas in the Atlanta area but they were nothing special. I was VERY happy with the pedicure I received from Lou at Three 13!! She is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and great to talk to. In addition, she knows what she's doing when it comes to the feeties!! My feet have never been so well taken care of - after my first appointment with her, I knew I'd found the pedicure place for me and made a bunch of future appointments with Lou. Most places I've been to rush you through your appointment and I did not feel rushed in the slightest and my toes look beautiful and feel fantastic! I cannot recommend going to Lou enough! After my appointment, I came home and called several friends to tell them who to go to for their toes! My boyfriend even agreed to go get a pedicure from Lou because of how great the experience was and how great my toes feel and look. Yay for Lou!!!
Pros: Did not feel rushed, extremely skilled
Cons: None!

My hair stylist was on vacation last week so I’d decided to get a little trim from three 13. To make long story short, the stylist can’t even cut straight. Unfortunately they don’t do refunds so I have to go back to redo my hair however there won't be next time. Three 13 is only good for doing my eye brows from now on.
Pros: lack of experienced stylists
Cons: clean, staff members are nice

I've been seeing Carrie for over 10-11 years now. She KNOWS my hair, which is important to me. It changed after I turned 30 and had kids, but she still keeps up with it. I have also had extensions done by her and my wedding updo. They were both fantastic. I've also seen Lilia, who did a fabulous job as well, and I'd recommend both. I've had no issues with the color I've received there either, other than it fades quicker than I'd like, but that's of my own doing, as I use a straightening iron religiously. I've had waxing done by Kat & Gayle and both did fabulous jobs. I've been to the competitor just down the street and was not happy with the service I received there.
Pros: Great stylists, same day appts
Cons: Price, but well worth it in my opinion

I have seen Zoe twice and been very pleased with how she cut my hair. Referred my sister in-law and she also loved how her hair turned out. Haven't tried color yet, not sure ... very mixed reviews. Price .. cost extra to dry my hair. Skip the parafin and neck massage, dry my hair!
Pros: Same day appointments
Cons: Price and I feel old (I'm 36!) when I'm there... like it's a dance club of 21 yr. olds :)
