Not worth your time

My husband and I tried this bistro after the great review on this website. 7pm on a Saturday night and the place was EMPTY. Not a good sign. The food was overpriced for the quality. Neither of us were impressed with the ambiance. The service was good and attentive, but did not make up for the lack of quality in food. We were unimpressed to say the least. Don't waste your time.
- Pros: No wait.
- Cons: Not great food.

They closed building is for lease. This location has been closed for many months and the for lease sign has been up for quite sometime. Try the 688 @ 688 Whitlock Avenue for a new spot in the area.

My wife and I went here for an early evening dinner; we were the only diners. The staff was very friendly and the service was very good, but the food was only OK. The resturant either needs to lower their prices or do somthing to improve the quality of their meals.
- Pros: Friendly staff
- Cons: Expensive given the quality
Italian-themed bistro menu draws a crowd in downtown Marietta.

The Scene
Almost hidden at the end of a shopping center not far from the town square, the suburban bistro quietly courts the country club set. The best room is the first--with a great stone fireplace, two gated wine cellars and candlelit dining. Quiet background music from a grand piano provides the backdrop for service that is solicitous and efficient.
The Food
Italian cuisine provides a reference point more than a hard-and-fast rule at this capable, upscale bistro. Highly nuanced dishes and generous portions are the rule here. Cream of tomato and artichoke soup is rich and tangy, and works far better than a plate of soggy bruschetta. Grilled shrimp linguine with tiny, tender green beans and a light lobster cream sauce works equally well as a middle course or an entree. Char-grilled pork tenderloin with sweet corn sauce and flaky, potato-crushed swordfish with winter squash grits make excellent entree choices. For dessert, try the creme brulee with fresh berries.
