This store used to be one of the East Cobb soccer moms' best-kept secrets. Here they could find fabrics, accessories, even furniture at a fraction of what they'd cost in Buckhead. But with Outrageous Bargains' new 60,000 square-foot showroom, the word is out. The parking lot is always packed with minivans and SUVs from all over the metro area. The unglamorous setting, with its pegboard walls and fluorescent lights, doesn't daunt budget-minded shoppers on a decorating mission.

The Goods
Outrageous Bargains began as a fabric retailer; and, with over 1,500 bolts, fabric is still their primary strength. However, the company now carries a fairly comprehensive selection of traditional and transitional furniture by familiar makers like Lane and Hooker. They pass along great buys when they find them. Accessories look disorganized but are surprisingly stylish and very affordable. Custom design services and a fabric workroom are likewise reasonably priced.
