Cool Antiques at a realistic price!
by travelbugg1980
The one thing that I hate about going to antique stores is finding the coolest "must-have" and then flipping the pricetag over to see that they want 3 to 4 times what you would ever pay for the same item brand new. Unless it's been autographed by Abraham Lincoln, it's usually not worth it! But this place has antiques and antique STYLE, with great prices, and fabulous service! I've bought a lot of my furniture here, as well as found nice gifts for b-day presents and mother's day, etc. They just had their customer appreciation sale, and gave out complimentary cookies, sausage/biscuits, and even meatballs to nibble while you shopped!! Nourishment while you shop--I love it! Plus the name is just too darn cute! :)
- Pros: Cool stuf, fair prices, great service.
- Cons: Not owning a truck mean I have to pay for delivery.
This Marietta flea market cooperative houses over 20 antiques dealers in one large space.

The Scene
It's not often you can call a huge space cozy. But, with more than 20 antique dealers and their eclectic wares filling up each square inch of this large store, it's easy to feel comfortable and lose yourself in the possibilities. And this is not your typical flea market: it's a cooperative, meaning there are no separate booths for each dealer's wares and one register replaces haggling vendors.
The Goods
Wood furniture seems to be the specialty here. Pine and cherry dominate the plentiful bedroom and dining room sets. For an armoire girl, this may be a dangerous place. Stop at the register to browse the costume jewelry, some of which scream old Hollywood. Home accessories, such as lamps and wall hangings, are easy to find.

Such a variety of different types of things. There's stuff there I didn't even know I needed (or wanted) until I ran right into it here. Great place to just go and browse.
- Pros: Variety, Convenience, Down Home
