It's not for everybody, but .................
by Honkey Tonkin
Good food, cold beer, stiff drinks, reasonable prices, biker friendly, good company. It's not for everybody, but most things in life aren't 1 size fits all. You might not agree with some of Mike’s outspoken ideas; and if not, he doesn’t seem to mind. I recently heard him say to someone trying to start some "Obama" trouble, after asking him twice to change the subject, “Look, people don’t come here to talk politics. They come to drink beer and talk about women.” That pretty much sums up this little diamond in the rough. I won’t be offended if you stay home and watch the Black Miss America Pageant, Black Entertainment Television, or Black History Month on Bio. But until we have a White Miss America Pageant, White Entertainment Television, or White History Month, I hope you won’t be offended if some of us just want to hang out on the patio at Mulligan’s, eat a little good food, drink a cold beer, and sit around shooting the breeze with some good folks.
- Pros: Many
- Cons: Smoky inside
All American Place
by Scrappy1818
I was in town with the military on my bike. Some people told me to check this place out. Man I am glad I did. Everyone in the place shook my hand and welcomed me. Felt like I had known them forerver. Mike the owner was great and everyone in there were fun people. The beer was cold and the BBQ was pretty good. I recomend this place to any PATRIOTIC AMERICAN. All you others find somewhere else if you dont like it. I hear they have flights all over the world that perhaps you'd feel more politically correct at. Have a nice day
Scrappy
- Pros: Cold beer, Nice looking waitress, Harley and good folks
- Cons: Absolutley none. Felt right at home.
Sorry all you PC folks
by JackSneed
I hate to say it but I like this place. Yes the food is good, the beer is cold and the service is great. They are all nice folks. I know some have a HUGE problem with the owner and his signs and such, but hey, if you don't like them, don't go there. For those of us who like the place, it is fine. Good place to go when you want something basic, filling and good tasting. If you are a "sensitive" person don't go.
- Pros: SERVICE 100%
- Cons: a little small but they have a parking lot LOL
Great Service, Bad Food
by beanunit
I love hole in the wall bars for sure. I stopped in because i saw the hilarious sign out front. After being in there, i don't think they are being socially unacceptable at all - just poking fun. I mean, maybe because i agreed with half of the bumper stickers all over the wall made it a lot less easy for me to be offended. But the service was wonderful! And drinks reasonably priced. I wish it was a LITTLE bit bigger because it made it hard to move around. I eventually moved from my table up to the bar and my experience was great from then on. however, i don't think i'll be returning because of the food. I ordered a bbq pork sandwich. For 6 bucks i would have hoped to get something a little more presentable than a sad, smushed cheap grocery store hamburger bun with a few droopy little pickles on top of the meat.
- Pros: Attentive Staff
- Cons: Too Small, Food Overpriced and a little gross
Negative Environment
by MariettaMom
I would not support this business---it doesn't take an 'A' in Sociology 101 to figure out that this establishment feels threatened by ethnic minorities, therefore, they scapegoat and taunt them under the guise of freedom of speech.
I think people of the city and those that drive down Roswell Street should have them ousted from the city. Marietta is supposed to be an "All-American" city---- Americans are Hispanic, Black and Asian, too. I drive past their signs everyday---sometimes, I laugh at them, because they are ignorant, bitter people who want to spread division and hatred directed at non-White Americans among Whites who have fears about non-Whites (zero-sum theory) taken what is rightfully their entitlement as White men and woman.
I smell Freedom of Speech on the grill....
by 82ndTrooper
This is for rating the place itself, & it's atmosphere, not for what the owner or patrons believe in or what they sell, you idiots. This establishment is a good place to kick back for a few. Good folks-good atmosphere.
Take you crappy bitter complaints elsewhere you troublemakers!! Ever heard of "Freedom of Speech"??
- Pros: Kick-back place
Extremely average
by atlja43
The location is great, the food is mediocre, but not bad. the prices are good. I think it is worthwhile if it is not a special occasion.
Racistt
by eleanorfinley
Check out their "Obama in '08" t-shirts
and then NEVER give them your business.
America, wake up and smell the bulllshit! Institutional racism was merely a tool by which the rich once used to distract poor, ignorant white Americans into antagonizing blacks, another enormous poor population so that NO ONE EVER WOKE UP AND REALIZED WHO WAS REALLY SCREWING THEM OVER. Now, they don't even have to bother- powhites keep themselves ignorant and hateful. Fuuck this bar.
Cold food, stay away
by asdfjkl1078
Even for a smal, casual place, I found the food to be well below average. The food was pretty average, but was cold, thus making it horrible.
- Pros: Not much
- Cons: Ambience, service, and food in general
Great atmosphere and service
