Rainbow Grocery is a legend around Atlanta, to be one of the few origianl Health Food stores. We first found out about the store,many years ago, through friends who were students at Emory, and we were still in our Birkenstocks.Originally it was the fresh squeezed juices and vitamins, that brought us here. Today there is lots of competition, but the personal service, the people who live what they sell, are outstanding. It's still one of our favorite luncheon destinations, with that great veggie and fruit bar. Love those creative salad combo's with Tamari/Sesame dressing. Woodstock generation is still alive!

Rainbow Groceries is the first and the best of the natural food stores that have popped up around Atlanta. Their vitamins & minerals section is staffed by exceedingly knowledgeable people, and their prepackaged foods are both reasonable and very tasty. You have to try Andy's Popcorn - you will become addicted. Their prices on their natural foods and vitamins and minerals are extraordinarily reasonable - much cheaper than Whole Foods or Garden of Eden. Also, if you want a Nalgene bottle without some big chain store's name on it - they are here. Give this place a try - you will definitely like it.
