one of my favorite places to eat
by GEGE1976 at Citysearch
Raging Burrito is one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta/Decatur! Their food is really good and very reasonably priced. The ambience is relaxes, the staff is friendly, the patio is large, the draft beer selection is nice (especially now with Fat Tire on draft), and it's a great choice for groups of any size. I especially recommend the pineapple salsa and guacamole!
- Pros: inexpensive and great

Just got back into town after being away a while and my first visit was my favorite burrito place - Raging Burrito. Not only was it as great as I remembered, it was even better! They've added Tacos to the menu - I tried the Baja Fish, the Shredded Beef, and the Fajita Veggie, and I am now officially addicted. Apparently they just remade the former Azul into the new Raging Taco and it looks GREAT in there! AND... there were some killer drink specials. It was nice to see some familiar faces - both staff and other customers. Even though I was away for a while I felt like I was home again. The guacamole is the best anywhere. Fresh and tasty. I can't wait for spring time - margaritas on the patio! Food is fresh and delicious and the vibe is fun and inviting. Did I mention I LOVE this place? Raging Burrito is the best!
The best tacos, margaritas,& hdtv and the new Raging Taco

I just went to the new dining area connected to raging burrito. It is called raging taco tequilA bar and it is great with a relaxed, tribal atmosphere. It has the same menu as raging burrito but it also offers some tacos of the week. I went there with a few friends and watched the Ga- Lsu game on their huge hdtv. The service was attentive but not annoying. The waitress recommended the baja fish, shredded beef, and grilled chicken tacos. The tacos come on grilled flour tortilla and are served with your choice of a salad or beans and rice. My friends and I thought all the tacos were amazing. The Raging taco room connects to their big garden patio. I was glad to find out smoking was only allowed on the patio. We drank pitchers of $9 Sweetwater 420. What a deal. They have 16 or so beers on tap with a great selection of micros. I noticed they also had sierra nevada pale ale and celebration ale for only 2.95 a pint and $9 a pitcher all the time. We also had the Raging Rita and it had the perfect blend of sweet and sour and was pretty potent. We were surprised they had validated parking. It has always been a problem for me to find parking in decatur so I love this deal. I would say you must try out raging burrito/ Taco!
- Pros: The best tacos, friendly servers, Hdtv a beutiful patio & validated parking
- Cons: I live in sandy springs so i can only go once a week
We love the back patio for margaritas and the best guacamole and veggie chili queso

My whole office went to raging burrito yesterday after work and we had a great time! Tasty margaritas, fish tacos, and the best appetizers(guacamole&vegie chili mixed with queso) I have had equaled a fun time. It was hard to find where to park but when we did it was fine. For the money this is a place to not miss..
- Pros: Great food, good service, fun large patio
- Cons: parking is hidden but once we found it they validated
friendly service, great food and a fun back patio but too busy on friday nights

Raging burrito has my favorite tacos(baja fish is my favorite) and the best margaritas and patio in town. This is what my wife and I look for in casual dining. Great food with friendly service at a good price, The relaxed garden patio makes raging burrito a place I miss the most in atlanta(actually decatur) when I am on my regular travels for business.
- Pros: festive patio, huge menu
- Cons: very busy on fri nights

I was just reading the reviewer below and saw the person, who wrote its history of not liking any where he or she has eaten. I happen to be of the exact opposite opinion of you. Raging Burrito is my families favorite casual restaurant in Atlanta. We have been going since they opened in decatur in 1999.It has excellent service and strong margaritas and alot of good beers on tap. I cannot get enough of their fish tacos!! I also enjoy all the other decatur places adecaturite dislikes so intensely. If the person hates that all the decatur families go out on friday night why not go eat in another part of town on that night or just consider moving. I have lived in decatur for 15 years and I love it. Go eat at all the places this person hates. They are all great! I would avoid friday nights though because the kids are let loose to run wild around all of these resturants.
- Pros: validated parking, the best food and drinks
- Cons: there needs to be a location downtown near my work

If you like burritos then you need to get to this spot. The food is the bomb. The only thing negative i can say about Raging is we more locations, we drive from Duluth.
Just tried the tacos and we loved them. Best Sweetwater deal in the City.

We have been enjoying Raging Burrito's tasty, unique burritos since they opened in 1996 or it may have been early 97. I just found out Raging Burrito now has Baja Fish tacos and we went to try them last night and we think they are amazing. We also tried their new portobello fajita and shredded beef tacos which we also loved. We had friendly service on their large garden back patio. The patio has a beautiful, huge mural of the mona lisa drinking a Margarita. My wife was surprised by how many beers they had on draft.(16 I think it was on tap) She ended up choosing a Sweetwater 420 Ale. The server told us their 5 Sweetwater beers on tap are 2.75 a pint on Mon to Wed.(Great Deal we will return soon for!) I had the best Texas Margarita I have had in many years. It had the perfect mix of sour and not too sweet. We had our first night out without our children in a while and we were very glad to go back to Raging Burrito after not going for a while. We will return soon to try the other Tacos and try some other Sweetwaters on special.
- Pros: Free validated parking, Great tacos,16 beers on Tap, Great decor and huge patio
- Cons: I now live in Macon so I can only make it up every few weeks to visit and eat at RagingB
BEST TACOS!!!!!!
by rkrrich at Citysearch
Last night was my first visit to the Raging Burrito, I ordered the fish and shredded beef taco platter and I have to say that they were by far the best tacos that I've ever had! Not bland like most of the tacos of other restaurants that I have tried, these were unique and full of flavor. My margarita was perfect too, not too sweet or watered down tasting, I used to be a bartender so I'm really picky. The service was also excellent, our server was very friendly and efficient. Over all a great experience, I will definitely be back!
- Pros: great patio
