I feel sorry for the person who wrote these lies about my center. I have worked very hard for 25 years to give covington a great place to bring there kids. Anyone out there that knows me personally knows these are lies. The parent that wrote some of these blogs wasn't happy because the state came out and could not confirm any of there complaints, which is public record also. Anyone that would say such harsh things about a center says alot about there own self worth. These remarks were made by a bitter person who obvisously did'nt get ther way at the center. I know who you are! I will prsocute if this continues. Say the truth and i'm fine with it. Lies you will answer to them. Kathy Cain

This is a night mare to me one of my worst fears for 25 years, We are located on a main Hwy right in front of a Hospital. I've preached to my staff thousands of times that they never wanted to look a parent in the face and say they let there child out on this hwy due to neglect. Which this was a horrible accident not neglect. The teacher has been with me for 24 years and this is a horrible experience for her. She worked at Newton General for 20 yrs. with babies and for me 24 yrs. She is the most dedicated person I know to children. The day in question I had just came home from out patient surgery for my knee i was out of it when the phone rung at my home. The officer was excited when he called me. I simply said call my assistant she had more knowledge. This child was not out of the building but 2 minutes this was all on tape. She went out of the classroom door when the teacher was cleaning up a 2 yr old that had boo booed on it's self and played in it. The teacher only had 6children in the classroom at the time of this incident. yes the teacher had her back to the child and she ran out the door a door that the fire department will not let us secure due to fire codes They wrote us a letter on our behalf. We immediately called the mother at work and it took two hours for someone to come from the family, which it was no harm done, for it was not an emergency.The child was back in her classroom playing she was fine acted like nothing had happen. The mother knew about this incident within a 30 minute time fram. The ems did not save this child a passing motorist and her daughter stopped the traffic and got this child and flagged down the ems that was commin up hwy 278. This was caught on video. The ems was on my property within a 2 minute time fram waiting on the police to come here. Yes my staff was scared to death and could not think of the names or anything else for a few minutes. We knew who this child was and did the proper proto call as soon as we could. I have always excepted responsibily for this i hated that it happen but thank the lord up above that the child was not hurt. This could have been a fatalty. I'm so sorry that this happened to this family and I would like to apologize to this family. Thanks Kathy Cain Owner

My daughter loves K C's pre K program. I think that it is a great place to send your children. I have always been impressed by the individuals who work there. They are good with all the children. I would reccomend K C's to any one.

This Year At Kc's Daycare We Have Decided To Place A Child In The Center This Year. To Give Us More Insite On Whats Been Going On In Kc's Daycare! It's Been Alot Of Talk About This Daycare An If It's As Bad And Horrible Like i've Been Hearing Kc's Will Be Closed Down For Good! So Kc's If Your Reading This I Just Pray That All These Comments And Reports Are False! The Truth Will Always Come To Light! An Im The One To Help It! So Watch What You Do Nor Say Around The Kids! I'll Be Watching!

Should not be in business

on 5/20/09 @ 7:pm my 2yr old grandaughter was saved by a man on hwy 278 due to negligence of this daycare. she was in the middle of the hwy & by the grace of God she was not hurt. The police was called & it took over a hr for them to contact my daughter to tell her what happened. When Ms KC was called she told the police to call the peson that was in charge that night & hung up. They had to go & ask my 5yr grandson what the babys name was before they could find her info because it had not been filed This is in a police report plus more. I am following up with the State & a attoney.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH TO TAKE YOUR KIDS TO ITS FAR BEYOND NASTY THERE ARE FURRY RODENTS AND CRAWLING RODENTS THEY DONT DISINFECT THE TOYS KIDS URINATE ON THE COTS AND THEY DONT CLEAN THEM THERE ISNT ANY FIRE ALARMS! THE TEACHERS DONT CLEAN THE PPL IN THE FRONT OFFICE ARE LAZY THEY DONT DO ANYTHING. THEY DONT REALLY WATCH THE KIDS THE KIDS WATCH THEMSELVES THE OWNER IS BY FAR THE WORST PERSON THEIR IS. SHE DOESNT SPEND HER MONEY RIGHT ON THE DAYCARE THE STATE HAS WRITTEN HER UP NUMEROUS TIMES AND SHE JUST CONTINUES TO IGNORE IT. SHE GETS SO MAD WHEN SHE HAS TO SPEND MONEY ON THE DAYCARE, SHE TALKS TO HER EMPLOYEES AND TREATS THEM LIKE DIRT, THERE IS FAVORTISIM THERE IS DIFFERENT RULES FOR DIFFERENT PPL. THAT PLACE IS UNFAIR AND NOT A PLACE FOR U TO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN! IT'S HORRIBLE AND NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN!!!!

this place is so gross i mean i dont think anyone ever cleans in there its always cold they have rodents and there is no tellin what else!!! i would not reccomend you take your children there!!! and the lady who works up front is so rude unless your a guy!! she tells you one thing then someone else tells you differently there is no structure there!! and anyway how can a place stay open esecially a daycare full of kids with no fire alarms!!!

no structured environment for the kids, only some of the staff is friendly and interested in discussing your child's day, judging from the other kids actions, many of them do not want to be there. Have talked to many other parents in the area who have had similar experiences.
