Everything from the fabulous food to the inviting and relaxing atmosphere, Portabella's is one-of-a-kind. It's definitely a great escape from the city -- lunch on the porch is pure tranquility and dinner at night listening to jazz is truly romantic. The creative concoctions, from the sauces to the entree, are always fresh and absolutely divine. I live in Buckhead and work in midtown and crave Portabella's every week so I always make it up for lunch on Saturday.
Pros: atmosphere, accommodating, no smoking

I went to a birthday party with 20 others. We were reserved for the wonderful covered deck but the weather was too much so we moved inside and it was still wonderful. We started with the crab cakes (oh my goodness) and they melt in your mouth. I had the house salad which has a great house dressing. The beef tenderloin was covered with crab meat, on top of rice pilaf and bernaise (homemade) sauce. I love good food and you can't go wrong with this adorable little cottage. Our waiter handled a celebrating happy crowd very well. If you get a chance you must go.
Pros: Atmosphere, Exquisite Food, Great service
Cons: Hard to find, No smoking, wine and beer only

This is absolutely, positively the MOST amazing restaurant in Alpharetta. Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is impeccable!! I have actually driven from Atlanta just to eat here!!!
