Too bad used to be great food and good service
New York-style pizza packs the house at this casual deep South pie joint.
by Jennifer Olvera at Citysearch
In Short
Boasting an authentic New York pizza recipe that dates back to 1918, this casual joint attracts local families in spades. Popular starter are the house pretzels, which come drenched in garlic butter. Pizzas are the main attraction, and they're topped with flavorful items like jalapenos, Roma tomatoes, feta and banana peppers. Pasta dishes range from lasagna to marinara-topped ravioli. Subs offer another dining alternative.
Best Pizza in the ATL
by donnyraymond2 at Citysearch
This place has the best pizza in town, along with a cordial wait staff and a great selection of cold beer.
If not in the mood for pizza, the calzone's rock, and always hit the spot.
- Pros: good parking, excellent food
- Cons: no much around
Tasty and Quaint

What a great place for a first date....a comfortable atmosphere, a simple place, and great pizza. It's a fun place to hang out in a great (undiscovered to most of Atlanta) neighborhood. It's usually got a game on the tv, a bunch of people on the outdoor patio, and great pizza in the oven. I love it in the spring and summer on the patio! And if you're not in the mood for pizza, try the lasagna, a Greek salad, and definitely the cheese pretzels.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good Service, Patio
NY Pizza

The pizza here is as close as you can get to NY pizza in Atlanta. The lasagna and spaghetti are also great. I would recommend it if you are in the area. Avoid the slices and get an entire pizza if possible.
- Pros: Food, Friendly, Fast
