Not awful, not amazing, overpriced

The Harp Irish Pub was okay, but I like to think that a real Irish pub would be alot better. My wife got the Shepard's Pie, which was completely unseasoned and tasteless. I got the "Irish stew," which was pretty good.. but at $10 a bowl it was way, way overpriced. Both items came with steamed vegetables that were watery, rubbery, and cold. The beer was good, but overpriced. Bottom line is that the food is too expensive and not good enough to be "authentic" or worth returning to.
- Pros: Good beer, good service
- Cons: Overpriced, bland, smokey
Surprisingly, best wings in Roswell!!

Best chicken wings in Roswell, hands down!! Good deal too for 10 or 20. Highly recommended. Fish and Chips are also very good, but that was expected.
- Pros: wings, atmosphhere, scary looking irish bartenders
- Cons: smoke, smoke, smoke, smoke and lastly smoke
Harp 2 in John's Creek is great!!!

Checked out the new Harp location on Medlock Bridge this week- totally different atmosphere. More of an open layout with a cool stacked stone fireplace- feels like home. Friendly staff and great food add to the experience- get some fish and chips and a pint, and sit back and watch the game!! Good place for lunch too- quick service and full menu.
Fun, friendly Irish pub

I love this little Irish pub tucked away in a shopping center in Roswell. It has a great atmosphere--the employees and the other patrons are always friendly. I usually get a black-and-tan and then order a dish off their menu.
- Pros: atmosphere, drinks
- Cons: not much
Roswell's comfortable, homegrown pub with authentic Irish fare.

The Scene
The somber, relaxed ambience and friendly characters keep with European tradition. Harp is more open and airy than most conventional Irish pubs, but dark paneled walls, stained glass, and enclosed booths lend a cozy atmosphere. Intellectual types, local business owners and those with discerning tastes make up the crowd; if the young don't find fun here, their older siblings and parents will.
The Draw
There aren't a lot of independent bars in Roswell, and this one wins on all fronts: great crowd, good food and eclectic music. Harp offers a hearty menu of Irish basics such as fish-and-chips, smoked salmon and beef and Guinness pie. For those in search of something lighter, there's also salads and sandwiches. The free live music on Fridays and Saturdays ranges from traditional Irish fiddling to upbeat folk-rock.

What a wonderful place to eat and relax, the owners are friendly and want you to have a great dinning experience. This bar also caters to children, my nine year daughter loves this bar and is made to feel right at home.
