I guess I have been spoiled by Renew Day Spa in Marietta. Spa Sydell only had 1 bathroom, the steam room only accommodated two people, the locker room was messy, dirty and too small for the number of people they had booked. The small locker room was waiting area, no chairs, drinks or snacks. The facial room was the size of a closet and I could hear people on either side of me talking because rooms were too close together. For the same price, Renew Day spa has personal waiting rooms with nice chairs, food and drinks. The message and facial rooms were bigger and they give you the relaxed experience. I felt like Spa Sydell was herding cattle, they want you in and out asap.

I was looking forward to FINALLY using 3 old spa gift certificates that I had received as gifts for my upcoming 30th birthday, but was informed that I could not redeem them because they are over 2 years old. That's over $400 of my friends' and families' hard earned money that they flat out STOLE. I am a VERY busy person and unfortunately haven't had time to take off a whole day to spend at the spa until now. I looked forward to a nice relaxing day at the spa for my 30th, but now I have to inform my friends and family that all their generosity went to waste. Money is money... these gift certificates should not expire. I realize prices may have changed, but I was more than willing to pay the difference. I will certainly be telling all of my friends and family to never buy me another gift certificate from this corrupt company again, and I warn everyone to avoid this unprofessional business like the plague! They aren't even that great of a spa to begin with.

Cons: They steal people's hard earned money

My husband gave me a half day treatment that included massage, facial, mani & pedi with lunch. The lunch was bad, I wouldn't recommend bothering to pay for that. Basically I was left in a cafateria like area with a rubbery microwaved grilled chicken and an ok salad (there was nothing luxury about it!!). I was also let down by the mani & pedi, I could go to my regular nail place and pay atleast half and I felt my place would do a better job. I would however still recommend because the massage was very good, my therepist talked too much, but was very good. The absolute best part was the facial. The facial was by far the best I've ever had. Would definilty go back for massage and facial, skip mani & pedi and don't even consider lunch!!!

Have been a long time client of Spa Sydell and see Galina regularly for waxings. She is great and gives and amazing Facials as well. She recommended the microderm service for me and it has done wonders for my skin. She also recommended I see Donna for a deep massages. She is great and really knows her craft. I think the whole staff is fantatsic and the ladies at the front desk always remember my name and are very helpful. It is a great day everytime I walk into the spa.

Pros: Knowlegeable Staff, very relaxing

Cons: Can get crowded on Saturdays, I recommend weekdays or nights.

I just recieved a stretch massage from Reggie. He was great, it was the frist time i had that type of massage and thought it was amazing. I have not felt this good in years. My facial with Lisa was a real relaxing expeirence. I will be recommending coming here to everyone I know. Everyone was very polite and went out of thier way to make me feel special.

Pros: Great Staff, Great services, Very relaxing

Cons: Not being able to come here everyday

over priced, over talked about, service strated late and finished on time so I paid for hour and got fourty-five min. massage, front desk is run by people that don't know what their talking about and try to push you in a sale that takes away the relaxation or what they call relaxation. the rating for this spa is way to high. looks like either I came in the down fall or there are other people who don't know how to rate and don't know what a spa is.

Pros: Nice music, friendly Therapist and Techs.

Cons: Over priced, Pushing in sells I felt like I was in a use cars lot

My visit to spa sydell was amazing. The staff took such great care of me and the service was outstanding. I had never been to a spa before and my staff gave me a gift certificate. I can not wait to go back.
