I have eaten out 3-5x a week and this is the first time I have gotten sick in an Atlanta restaurant in 15 years. It was either the mediocre hot and sour soup or the mu shu that gave me a 12-hour case of the trots. In any case, the very rude owner, Lenny, refused to refund the lousy $22 I spent int he restaurant on contaminated food (I tipped the waitress). This explains why the Midtown locale is like a ghostown....smart diners eat elsewhere! Go to Buford Highway where the food is clean, fresh, delicious and will not make you sick!

I love everything on this menu - you can't go wrong with the noodle or rice bowls - you get a lot of food for your money!

we walked in and were directed to the far back tiny table in the empty restaurant. " can we get another table" i asked. she goes "today will be very busy you have to seat in two top". I mean In a empty restaurant at 1pm. we were there until 2pm and it was still empty. Not to mention we waited for our check for 20 minutes in a empty restaurant. I just do not care how the food is i do not want to be treated like that. stay away, far away.

We've finally given up on Noodle. I've had some good dishes there, never great, and some real duds. There are just too many duds. The clincher was what they sell as Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad. Sounds pretty basic for a place called Noodle, right? It was a disaster. Usually I've done take-out. This time we ate in, and the waitress was clueless about the items on the menu. In Decatur, head to Thai Bowl instead, or better yet, over to Emory for Doc Chey's.
Pros: near my house
Cons: uninformed service, food ranges from good enough to bad

I really have to be in the mood for Asian food - but when I get in that mood, there is one place I like to go, and that's Noodle. All three of their locations are terrific. My favorite dishes are the spicy basil rice bowl (with brown rice), the crunch grouper, the fried chicken rice bowl, and the asian chicken salad. Did I mention the satay chicken appetizer, the shrimp basil rolls, and the vegetable dumplings? Or the great wine selection? I love the Decatur patio, and I'm in love with the Midtown bartender - Mike. He always picks the perfect wine for me, and he makes delicious drinks too! The value is outstanding - the portions are great and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The service is exceptional - even when they are busy, the food comes out fast and the servers make sure we have whatever we need.
Pros: delicious food, great portions, love the service, love the value

Their food is okay, but Surin Thai is better. The big problem is the customer service. I recently made a take out order and when I came in to pick it up, part of my order was incorrect. The waitress looked annoyed that I bothered to point out the problem and didn't apologize. Then the manager came out and corrected the receipt to reflect a "change in order," even though it was their mistake. Because the change in order occured after 4pm (when lunch ends), the manager increased the price. When I asked him about the change, he told me it was a little over a dollar and that I could not leave a tip or "whatever," basically dismissing me. Don't waste your time here unless you like to be treated like a 2nd class citizen. There are plenty of great restaurants in Decatur; Noodle isn't one of them.
Pros: serving size
Cons: Customer Service, Parking, Management unaware whether MSG is present in food.

Finally made it to Noodle with a good friend for our Saturday lunch outing. The place has an Asian cutting-edge design, with cool lime green walls. And our server/bartender, Stacy, was nothing short of terrific. This little girl has energy, like you would not believe. Being severly hung-over, she made me one of the best Bloody Mary's, with Peppered Stoli. It was so good. My starter was amazing, freshly made, chilled Shrimp-Basil Rolls. Three large rolls, bursting with Shrimp, and only $5.00. Could this be a mistake? No, that's what the menu said. And being a cold February day, I got the Coconut-Curry Noodle Soup with Shrimp. I could not finish it, and it warmed my soul. My companion, had the tasty Chunchy Beef with Broc/Rice. He licked the plate as usual! Ask for Stacey, and at these prices, it's a couple of times a week~
Pros: Budget Priced Shrimp Basil Rolls, Noodle Bowls, Terrific Service!
Cons: None At These Prices!

My boyfriend took me to Noodle as the restaurant apart of our date after the Georgia Aquarium. Boy did I love it! The food came out decently fast and good. Our waitress was very nice and service was well.
Pros: Food, service, price
Cons: None

One can make a meal alone just on the appetizers, in fact, they ought to consider an Asian tapas theme. The owner, Lily, personally stopped by the table to ensure everything was satisfactory. Nice to see an affordable nigori sake on the menu, also. The shrimp basil rolls are hands-down the best I have tasted in my 6 years of residence in Atlanta- not overstuffed with store-bought shrimp like other palces, the basil was fresh and fragrant, and INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE. Service was better than other Asian-influenced restaurants, also.
Pros: Inexpensive, Fresh ingredients, Great music/ambience
Cons: , Not for large groups, Wine list is average

Wether vegetarian or not, this place ROCKS! My food has always been wonderful, hot and how I asked. Being a vegetarian, it's sometime hard to find tasteful and good food. Most of the serving staff is prompt and curteous. In the many, many times I've been I can count only 2 times my service was slightly below average, and one of those servers I haven't seen again. Plenty of options, plenty of tastes, plenty of drinks! Although they have kid dishes, I wouldn't recommend it, it's more "adult" atomosphere, like a romantic dinner or place to eat with friends.
Pros: inexpensive, good service, tasty food
