I recently visited Fritti with my wife and a group of friends. I was first struck with the space. It has two patios, one covered, one uncovered, a main inside dining area, and a loft area. This place can accomidate any group, no matter the size. We were greeted with a smile by a lovely, courteous hostess and seated right away (it was very busy and we had no reservation). Our server greeted us quickly, and was very knowledgeable, and helpful. Having never dined at Fritti before we decided to try as many of the menu items as possible. The salads were very fresh and flavourful, the fried mushrooms were to die for, and the pizza was by far the best I have tasted since visiting Italy in the late nineties. The manager came over to ask how everything was, and we entered into a conversation about Italian wine. Not only was he a wonderful ambassador for the restaurant, but he was incredibly knowledgable about the wine list. He explained about the Italian wine making process, different regions, and vintages. We enjoyed it very much as none of us knew much about Italian wine. To end the evening we enjoye a few traditional Italian desserts, the moscarpone was absolutely delicious. This was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences I have had in Atlanta. Thank You Fritti for a Wonderful Evening.
