Read some of the recent reviews about customer service and quality of pizza. The only thing good about this place is the atmosphere...other than that, nothing else was good. First of all, the service is super slow. The waitress greeted us and brought us waters...then there was no check back for about 15 minutes. She came back 15 minutes later and didn't even ask if we wanted anything else to drink. She directly asked if we were ready to order. We gave an order for an appetizer, which I clearly stated we wanted it out before our main meal, and then for our main meals. We waited for another 20 minutes and she came back to tell us our main meals would be out shortly...yet not appetizer was brought to our table yet. I told her that I didn't want the appetizer to come with the meal...she then said, "no, I'll bring it out right away". 10 minutes pass before she brings out the appetizer...which I could tell was just cooked because it was hot. She either forgot to ring it up or she was going to bring it with the meal. Our meals come out shortly thereafter and the pizzas you could tell had already been sitting out for a little while..the pizzas were soggy. After the meal was delivered, the waitress never checked back with us about how our meal was...by that time, we were just hungry and didn't want to go through the hassle of complaining. The only time the waitress would refill our waters was when we tracked her down and asked her to. Overall, if you like soggy pizza and no service, come here...other than that, you'll be better off eating at Pizza Hut or ordering from Papa John's.

Pros: Good outdoor seating

Cons: Poor Service, Quality of food poor

I had a great experience at fritti recently. The pizza is as close to real pizza from naples as you can get, and the atmosphere is awesome! Cool music and very attentive service make for a great experience, and the value for an intown restaurant can't be beat!!

Pros: good service, great pizza

I recently visited Fritti with my wife and a group of friends. I was first struck with the space. It has two patios, one covered, one uncovered, a main inside dining area, and a loft area. This place can accomidate any group, no matter the size. We were greeted with a smile by a lovely, courteous hostess and seated right away (it was very busy and we had no reservation). Our server greeted us quickly, and was very knowledgeable, and helpful. Having never dined at Fritti before we decided to try as many of the menu items as possible. The salads were very fresh and flavourful, the fried mushrooms were to die for, and the pizza was by far the best I have tasted since visiting Italy in the late nineties. The manager came over to ask how everything was, and we entered into a conversation about Italian wine. Not only was he a wonderful ambassador for the restaurant, but he was incredibly knowledgable about the wine list. He explained about the Italian wine making process, different regions, and vintages. We enjoyed it very much as none of us knew much about Italian wine. To end the evening we enjoye a few traditional Italian desserts, the moscarpone was absolutely delicious. This was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences I have had in Atlanta. Thank You Fritti for a Wonderful Evening.

Met friends here recently for a week-night dinner and it is a cute spot, but the service and food is not up to par. The pizza was not flavorful and was extremely oily, so oily that I was sick the remainder of the night. Our service was not very friendly and not attentive. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want good authentic Italian pizza.

Pros: Very Cute Restaurant

Cons: Tasteless and Oily Pizza and not-so good service

Are you kidding me? This place needs a serious reality check. Sure, the decor is hip and the people are beautiful (mostly), but the menu is limited, the pizza is mediocre, and the food is way overpriced. Ordered what was supposed to be a salad with tuna, and instead, I received three paper-thin slices of raw tuna, garnished with a few lonely sprigs of infant arugula - okay, I thought to myself, perhaps a little tuna carpaccio will serve as a nice appetizer, let's see how it is. The dish wasn't even seasoned, and there was no citrus (lemon juice? Is it so difficult to put lemon juice on the fish? How about some salt? At least some olive oil? Hello?). Bland and completely unsatisfying, as if the chef just sort of slapped it on the plate and sent it away in frustration. Moving right along to the pizza. Undercooked. When we spoke to our waiter about the food and our dissatisfaction, he said, in a haughty tone of voice, "Didn't you hear me when I told you that the tuna salad had only, like, three little pieces of fish?" Uh, no, dude, we didn't, and even if we had, isn't it your job to make recommendations from the menu rather than scold your customers for having an issue with the food they've been served? Moreover, one of our party ordered what was optimistically described as a "half chicken." Must be the smallest chicken on earth. What arrived at the table was a cocktail napkin-sized plate and a single skewer of broiled chicken nuggets, garnished with incongruous cucumber pieces and red onion. Is this what casual-but-trendy dining in the ATL has come to? Overpriced micro-food and the dubious ministrations of a floppy-haired, sneering service staff? Should have stayed home and ordered in.

Pros: Swanky meet-and-greet spot, good wine list

Cons: Haughty service, poor value

If you want better service and better pizza go down the street to Johnnys. Your pocketbook will thank you as well. The service at Fritti is awful. The food is over-priced, under cooked and served with an attitude of; "if you don't like it, to bad". I ordered a salad for my meal, picked one that was with some fancy beef for $10 from the menu. When it showed up with maybe a 1/4 cup of greens four or five small pieces of cheese and three paper thin slices of beef. I ask the server if this was the $10 salad and she just nodded and without a blink asked if I'd like to speak with the manager. Thats when it really went down hill. He was less then polite and did nothing to help except say, in a very snide way, that he could bring over some more greens. I thought there was no-way after the way he talked to me was I going to eat anything else. My wife and 4 of our friends were really put off by the way the MANAGER'S attitude was. I told the manager that I needed nothing else. I was going to write it off as he was just having a bad day. UNTIL I saw him at the host stand near the steps to the bar look at our table and give us a dirty look. I asked my server to please get me the owners name and a way to contact him. She said she would bring over a card with the info. Insted the manager brought it over and after he told us that we could contact the owner via email, I told him that I saw the "look" he gave us and that I was willing to write the night off as just an off night for him, until I saw "the look". He ignored my comment and went back to defending the salad. I told him I did not want to discuss it with him anymore and asked him to leave our table so my friends could finish their meal. He walked away and I tried a bite of my wifes pizza and it was ok, a little under cooked, but not horrible. So if you like ok food and being treated awful go there and they will fix you right up. If not, there are some other choices around the neighborhood that are much better.

My GF and I went to Fritti's about a month ago expecting a nice dinner. We had a horrible server. He came up to the table, didn't say hello or smile or welcome us, instead angrily asked "what do you want?" WE were completely shocked by his blatantly rude demeanor, so we asked his name and his suggestions about the menu. He literally said, "yea its all pizza, what do you want?" Wine bottle was not presented and he opened it while walking across the restaurant, spilt sizable amount on the table, poured into obviously dirty glasses, and gave us no prior taste. After our appetizer (which was very tasty!) he grabbed our dirty forks by the tines and loudly dropped them back on the table. Next we received our pizza as it was loudly dropped on the table sending a few toppings into my lap. We had no knives, no plates, empty water glasses, and a greasy uncut pizza. HE promptly left with no offer to bring the items we needed to eat our dinner. After a few minutes of the food getting cold and being completely ignored, i went up to the server station and asked for plates, clean silverware and water, to which a tall bald guy (prob. assistant manager) rudely told me to "Sit down." We ate cold pizza, were covered in the wine and toppings the server spilled on us, and utterly shocked and almost humored at the worst service and experience we had ever had. After two bites of cold pizza (which was overpriced and consisted of greasy cheese on pita bread with about 5 pieces of sausage topping), the server put our check on the table and told us to please hurry and pay him. We left the check there until we finished our unremarkable dinner. After signing our bill, he took the check almost immediately (we still had wine and food to finish) and loudly cursed us on his way back to the kitchen. Needless to say I demanded to speak with the manager. Received no comped meal and will definitely not go back, EVER. Digorno's and a bottle of wine at home makes for a much better date.

Pros: Appetizers are excellent, wine list very good

Cons: Horrible service, management, and pizza

Went there Saturday night for a quck meal before Dads Garage. Strike one: Sat down and ordered ice tea - oops the waiter without apology says that don't serve any ice tea sweet or otherwise. That was a first for me in any restaurant in any state or county I have ever been to. Strike two: After salads, our pizza was delivered. We asked the waiter if it could be sliced or if we could get a pizza cutter again he abruptly said no and walked away - this restaurant (that only serves pizza) does not cut the pizza or give you adequate utensils to cut it yourself. Again strange. Strike three: They don't take Discover cards. Overall the for average pizza not worth the trouble.

I have dined at sottosotto and fritti for the past three years. The food is mediocre at best and the service is moody. However, fritti and sottosotto are a staple of inman park, just like Buddy's and Manual's. Fritti has a personality that many restaurants don't have. I hate candy coated anything and you will never find that at Fritti and SottoSotto.

I was in town visiting with a friend of mine and we happened in to Fritti on a Thursday night. We didn't have a reservation but it appeared we didn't need one. While the host was friendly and our server was very helpful, we found the pizza inconsistent. The appetizer, risotto and sausage ball, was burnt. We ordered a Margherita pizza and it looked like someone had poured water on it when it arrived at the table. We noticed a dramatic switch in the atmosphere in the restaurant from the last time we went (sometime in April). There was a short bald man screaming at the servers and the rest of the staff; who we found out was the owner of the restaurant. He was very demeaning to his staff and really dampened the atmosphere of the restaurant, all eyes were on the screaming man. Although this was my first bad experience (out of 2 visits) its definitely the one that will keep me from coming back. That man should not be allowed to interact with anybody and as no manager stepped in combined with the looks on the staff's faces, I can only assume he does it regularly.

Pros: our server was delightful and very knowledgeable

Cons: a little bald man screaming at people; it's like a d-rated movie about italian pizzarias
