Don't Move-In!. At first we thought this was going to be a great place to live. It's close to the Chattahoochee trails we run so often and has beautiful landscapes. Other than the proximity to places we frequent, this place is horrible.

Our apartment has an unidentifiable odor that just won't go away no matter how hard we try. The staff (after the management change which was a week after we moved in) is not helpful and some are just downright rude. They forgot to schedule an appointment with a third party carpet cleaning service while telling me I needed to be home. So there I sat all day waiting on them to come when the office didn't even schedule the appointment...ON A WORK DAY. When I called to inquire they acted like I was the one at fault. The final nail in the proverbial coffin is the online rent pay which they charge a $12.75 fee!! UNBELIEVABLE. We will be moving out as soon as our lease is up and I am counting the days...

Great Apartments. I moved in just before Christmas of last year and seen so many changes since then. They have all been positive

LOCATION: Extremely convenient. Chattahoochee River is behind my apartment. 285 and 75 are just around the corner

PEOPLE: My roommate calls if we have any problems but the office staff has always seemed nice to me. My neighbors are the best! Quiet and friendly.

ATMOSPHERE: It's mostly quiet with an occasional party on weekends. I've met a lot of people here when working out in the gym and just running into people at mailbox and stuff.

APARTMENTS: I live on the third level and I like not having anyone above me. Only time I hear someone is if people are playing music too loud but that is rare. My carpet was new when I moved in and everything else looks like new on the inside too.

I wish it was a little cheaper, haha, but it is so much better than some of the other apartment complexes around here. I really like it here!

I don't get it. I don't understand most of these reviews on here because I haven't had any problems and neither have my friends that lived here long before I moved here in May. The location could not be any better, the apartment is 100 times nicer on the inside than the last place I lived, and the clubhouse is just sick. Only had one little issue when I moved in with the sink sprayer but it was fixed right away. This place is solid as far as I'm concerned!

Overpriced. UPDATE:

We moved out 6 months ago, and now they are attempting to collect $50 for an unknown/unstated reason. They had the NERVE to never let us be aware of the situation. We received an mail from a debt collection agency saying this will go on our credit report if we don't pay w/n 30 days. WTF is wrong with these people? It's as if we can't get rid of these pests!

I'm a pretty easy person to please. I lived in a tiny apt in Chicago for 4 years, and this place has worse maintenance, and are greedier than my old management. This place is not worth the money, especially since the gated community is not an exclusive thing in apartment complexes. They open and close gates randomly. The apartment has a stench that no amount of cleaning can rid. There are other places with more square feet than what I pay. The management office is terribly rude. There's really no conveniece...the concrete outside the apartment is disgusting. They never came and fixed garbage disposal, and for the amount of money I paid, the pool is already closed when it's still 92 degrees out! The leasing office lured me in, but I've gone down to the river 2x (down some shady path). This place is just pretty on the outside, with nothing substantial to offer... the stoves are horrible (terrible to clean). I never use the dishwasher, and it's not like you can take these things with you when you move. There's no personal relationships with the management office where before I felt the manager would do extra steps to make sure I was OK. This place neglects your problems once you are in.

Loving It!. I moved to Rockledge this June and have had a great experience so far. Having the Chattahoochee River right behind my apartment is pretty cool...my roommate and I have gone rafting a few times and I go down there and run along the trail often. I really like the fitness center and sand volleyball court too. The inside of the apartment is just fine, can't really complain. The gates are kind of hit or miss on whether they are working or not, only downside. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Live somewhere else if quality of life means anything to you. I've lived at Rockledge for many years. It's been through many owners since I moved here, but the current owners are absolutely, hands down, the worst ever. And that's saying a lot.

They ignore maintenance requests. They've even hired a maintenance 'manager' to intimidate people into not filing them or following up on them -- a big, burly, gang-banger fellow covered in tattoos who likes to try and scare you into acquiescence. They lie. They damage your apartment and will ignore their own damage, later trying to charge you for it. They'll charge you false charges on your utilities and rent, saying it's for 'some back non-payment here or there.'

The apartments LOOK nice from the outside. Many people have been fooled because of that. They also have a separate leasing office from apartment management office. The leasing office is staffed with friendly, attractive people to try and sucker you in to renting. Once you rent, though, you're only allowed to deal with the apartment management staff, a group of surly, unappealing witches who will ignore your problems completely. They split these up so that new people looking at the apartments don't see the constant line of people complaining about issues that have gone unfixed for sometimes YEARS at a time.

The amenities are often broken or inaccessible because of construction or poor maintenance. The maintenance people are untrained. The buildings, internally, are crumbly, damaged structures riddled with holes and bugs living in the walls (but don't even think about getting an exterminator to come out and fix things -- they won't pay for it). The grounds are unsafe and cars are routinely broken into and apartments routinely robbed and burgled.

I've lived in some ghetto apartments in my time. But this place would make even a notorious slum lord embarrassed.
