Great food, great atmosphere – I have had dinner at Red Pepper Taqueria twice! Both experiences were great. The margaritas are delicious and there are lots of flavors to choose from! I can never decide on what to eat because there are so many great options. I can never pass up cheese dip and their's is so much better than most places. The cheese is creamy and the jalepenos are fresh and finely chopped tp give it just enough kick! It doesn't get that yucky film on top like the cheese dip at so many mexican restaurants. The first time I ate there, I had the fajitas and they were great! The meat was tender and the vegetables were all fresh. My most recent visit was this past weekend. We tried several appetizers since we couldn't decide on just one. The ceviche made with avacado and hamachi yellowtail tuna is amazing! I've had ceviche at lots of places and never had any like this!!! It's a must try! The guacamole topped with crap meat is also an excellent starter. They have a great variety of tacos to choose from as well as several quesdillas that all sound yummy! Don't forget to save room for dessert. The churros, served with a warm hazelnut chocolate sauce for dipping, are out of this world! It's obvious that the owner believes in using fresh, quality ingredients. And the food comes out looking as good as it tastes!
Where have you been all of my life!? – A coworker had recently been raving about this new place off of Briarcliff, and how amazing it was. I finally went with her, mostly so she would shut up about it, but it had been a long week and the idea of some tequila sounded like heaven by then. Let me say that I made the right decision. By the end of the night I was wondering why I havent been here sooner??? The food was amazing, and they have enough tequila to make you forget your crappy week. I will definately be back, even if it was her idea to begin with ; ) .
New level of taqueria – This place is amazing. It is the perfect addition to this neighborhood. I love it.
I have eaten here many times since their opening New Years weekend. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite dishes are the tuna crudo and the pollo asado tacos......but the menu has not dissapointed me once. I have brought my friends and family here and everyone has enjoyed themselves. The fajitas have generous portions of meat, the burrito is outstanding and enchiladas blew my mind. (the sauce is by far the best i have ever had). The kids menu is quite good according to a couple of kids meal experts I know. And in the not-so-mexican dept., the burger is one of the best in Atlanta.
In addition to great food, Red Pepper has a FULL bar with a different margarita for everyone......and serve yourself taps of beer at the bar tables....I mean WOW.
I love this place and have gotten to know the service staff., all of them attentive, attractive and accomodating! It is a friendly spot with great atmosphere.....and plenty of TV's for the sportsminded....Did i mention I love this place?
