THE WORST. Modo Cleaner

We purchased a cleaning service from an on-line deal website for 8 rooms cleaned by Modo Cleaners.

I left 8 messages in the span of 3 months for someone to call me about scheduling the service.

I also tried 3 times to schedule a service on their website.

One day I called and got someone actually answered the phone. They never apologized for never calling me back. They asked right away

if I was using a pre-paid service. When I told them "yes" they acted like it was a hassle for them. I finally got scheduled for a cleaning.

They NEVER showed up

I then left 3 more messages to find out what was going on? Never got a call back.

I tried to call again a month later and a lady said she was "sorry" and we scheduled another day for them to come out and clean

SURPRISE! They NEVER showed up!

At this point, I sent an e-mail to the website deal company I purchased the cleaning from. They apologized (not their fault) and they gave me a credit, they also

e-mailed the owner of Modos and CC'd me on the e-mail, they asked for them to get in touch with me right away.

They responded the same day in an e-mail, and we scheduled the date.

SURPRISE SURPRISE! Nobody SHOWED UP! Never got a call either.

At this point, I just couldn't believe this was even possible. I called to leave a VM and tell them to shove it, but the same Lady picked up, and said she was sorry, that half their staff quit,

and took their appointment book with the. Whatever!

She said "Don't worry, we will come out on Friday at 12pm, I will come myself if I have to!"

On Friday at 11:15am I went to get stamps, and came back at 11:40am......at 12:45pm I went outside and saw a note in my mailbox that said they "missed me"

I called and the CEO said they stopped by at 11:30am and nobody was home. I said "Yea, because our appointment was for 12pm." She said "She stayed in the area until 12:30pm."

I asked her "Why she didn't call?"

She said she "Didn't have my number."

She said "We will get back to you to re-schedule"

This place is a total scam, and they should not be in business. I imagine they do a horrible job cleaning, probably break something in your home, and then you never hear from them again.
