Beware the grey hair! Go elsewhere.. I can confirm the I'll behavior of the grey haired owner along with the other reviewers here. I've personally been yelled at (literally) by the owner when i brought in a pair of newbies to introduce to the shooting hobby. We wanted to shoot until the stated range closing time, but the owner wanted to leave a half hour early and cut our experience in half. This range is mediocre at best, but the poor treatment you can recieve by the staff makes it a pass. Go elsewhere. This joint deserves to go under and the day they do will be a victory for competition & capitalism.

Great range for target practice. We LOVE this range, staff is always friendly and knowledgable. It's not fancy, but the rates/range ammo etc are pretty reasonable. Great rental handgun selection. We go often enough to justify a membership so NO range fees. Other nice benefits to membership if you go twice a month or more its well worth it IMHO. Re: the staff, I don't agree with the negative comments I read here. I joined because the folks here were low BS, never gave me bad advice and they NEVER talked down to me or my sometimes noob guests. So many ranges DO have mall ninja wannabes etc.Again, I don't see that here. Then again I don't need "Pretty Woman" level major sucking up service - just decency and they've delivered that to me.

Horrible ventilation, Horrible service. Dangerously poor ventilation IMO, as there is no evacuation of dirty air and no clean air coming in. That means you're breathing in lead dust! Nice.

Also, and besides the other point is their horrible attitudes. They hate their lives and resent their customers. Especially the old, skinny, grey haired guy, who probably is the most miserable guy I've seen out in public. What a jerk! Just plain rude and passive aggressive with no good reason.

I've seen him talk to customers like they were dogs. And after going there enough times he started that with me. I won't be back and I suggest y'all go somewhere else.

Great shooting range!. The proof of American Classic Marksman's service and professionalism is that it was awarded the "2010 Reader's Top Indoor Shooting Range" category by the readers of Atlanta's CREATIVE LOAFING newspaper. This is a range which has great lighting, good ventilation, wide range of guns for sale and rental, and helpful, friendly staff. I've been using American Classic for several years, and keep coming back happily. The bulk of the staff is extremely friendly, provides good guidance to beginning shooters, and also offers shooting classes to beginners. The tall guy with glasses, and a Latino accent, usually has a wide smile on his face and is frequently joking and kidding around with customers to make them feel welcomed. Show up early on weekends or you might have to wait your turn. Definitely recommend ACM!

Poor Customer Service,. The staff seams to have a chip on their shoulder. I have been using ranges for almost 30 years and have never seen the staff try so hard to find something to harass you about. I am ex-military, I also have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) and have been shooting since I was 8, you could say I know what I am doing. The weapons that I bring to a range are in perfect condition and conform to all laws and regs, but they still like to watch you like a hawk and complain about anything possible. Including the size of a target that we were using, the same size as they sell!!! We will not be returning to this range again, there are to many good ranges out there to waste my time and headaches on them.

Overpriced, poor management. The prices are average for using the range. The prices for the weapons are higher than just about any of their competitors in the area. The range is dirty and cramped. while most of the front counter people are friendly and helpful. One gentlemen possibly the owner (Grey hair man, skinny, usually the one thats telling the rest what to do) is rude, unhelpful, and arrogant. For me its worth the drive to go to the other options in the area. After trying this place out now 3x, I have finally decided its not the best place in the area.
