love it!!!. I love the food!! The prices are good, the staff was very friendly. Music kind of loud if you sit out side. Wonderful little spot!
Don't listen to those clowns.. I will keep this very short. Excellent sandwiches, great appetizers, gross place mats. Please don't let the mats stop you from enjoying a wonderful little spot.
I've had better.
This is not a great restaurant, I've been there 2 times and both times the chicken was dry (how can you have a bone dry jerk chicken sandwich???) The prices are a little high for the amount they give you and the service, although attentive in the beginning doesn't mean you can just disappear once the food arrives.
The menu is small, and I agree with the other review in that the green leaves placemats were really sticky and dirty. My friends loves this place, but the next time I want to eat dry cardboard chicken I'll just rummage through their dumpster instead. Blah!
Bad.
Reasons for giving this restaurant only 1 star:
- Dirty table mats (those green leaves on the tables are greasy and sticky beyond belief!)
- Food: Good portions but very oily. Fish did not taste fresh at all!
- Tips: If you are like me, you get your check and hand your credit card to the waiter/waitress without checking the price. Once you get the receipt, automatically you will add your tip. PLEASE BE AWARE! These people already add the tip to the bill so you end up paying double tip.
I complained to the manager about this tricky practice and she did not seemed bothered. I told her that if the restaurant choosed to do so, then customers should be made aware that the tip is already included in the bill. I also asked her to please wash those table matts.
I don't recommend this place to anyone.
i'm in love. first off the atmosphere is wonderful, food exquisite, and the service unusually of the rickters scale...i loved every minute spent at papi's...a great place all season long, but way better in the summer, b/c your able to go out on the patio and dance the night away w/your love one
