Xtreme Moving moved my parents to Florida. They were so happy with the quality of service and the professionalism. Everything they said they did. The price never changed that was our biggest fears. I would refer them to others!
Movers were Awesome – This is the first business I’ve ever felt compelled to review. Period. After purchased a livingSocial deal for this company, I had doubts. i called around to 6 different (highly-rated) moving companies, and this one remained, by far, the cheapest. Went ahead and booked the move for TWO days post-purchase. Thrilled that they could fit me in on such short notice. The three guys that came to help, Roy, Michael, and James should all get raises. Fabulous customer service, they took excellent care of my furniture, and they even laughed at my jokes (serious points for that). Even when I told them not to bother wrapping/packing something that I wasn’t too concerned about, they did it anyway to ensure I was pleased with the final result. It’s always nice to see someone who goes above and beyond. Even with 2 stops, multiple delays (on my part, not theirs), they were constantly polite, timely, friendly, and professional. In addition, when I called to book the appointment, their office personnel were all extremely polite, and dedicated to making sure I was pleased. Seldom do I ever see a company these days go above and beyond, but this moving company far exceeded my expectations. Will DEFINITELY recommend to others, and will ONLY use them for all future moves.
Great Moving Experience!!! – I just wanted to provide you feedback regarding my recent move. My husband and I moved on Saturday, 11/19. I had purchased a Living Socials deal for 2 hours with Xtreme Moving for $99. I thought it was a great deal, but I didn't realize how exceptional the service would be. Our moving team consisted of Roy, James, and Shomarie. They were very punctual, extremely efficient, and customized our move to fit our needs. They were very respectful and a lot of fun! They had us moved in 3.5 hours. This was my 4th move in 5 years. I hired movers for every move. This last move was, by far, the most organized and efficient move of them all. And we couldn't have done it without the Xtreme Moving Team. My Dad was so impressed that he gave the team another $20 to buy lunch on top of the tip I had already given them (and my father is very tight with his wallet, so that was a big deal!). People are so quick to write reviews when they have bad service, I decided to take the time and write a positive review. I have already recommend Xtreme Moving to a coworker. And if I have to move again, which hopefully won't be for a very long time, Xtreme Moving will be the first company I call. Roy's team definitely deserves recognition and maybe even a nice holiday bonus :)
Disorganized and disrespectful management -- do NOT recommen – I have never been so dissatisfied with a product or service that I have felt compelled to go online and write a negative review, but I must do so after my experience with Xtreme Moving yesterday. I have moved 3 times in 3 years and the prior 2 experiences were as stress-free as a move can be: the movers were timely, took care of my things, and were efficient. Not the case yesterday with Xtreme Moving. I decided to use Xtreme Moving because I found a Living Social coupon for a 3-person crew for 2 hours and thought it seemed like a good deal. I bought it and booked the move over a month in advance, and planned it for the day I had to be out of my apartment. I explained over the phone the amount of furniture and boxes I had to move (an amount I was told would probably take about 3 hours with 3 men, so I planned on paying an extra hour full price at $119). On that day, 2 movers arrived at my apartment and were shocked to learn what all they had to move: they had not been given any information about what I was moving and seemed quite frustrated with their management. I finally got the management on the phone to explain that I expected 3 movers (per my coupon and my confirmation email), and Tracy at Xtreme Moving was extremely irritated that I wanted a 3rd mover. She told me I could call back on Monday to reschedule -- but of course, my entire apartment was in boxes and I needed to be out by the next day (today). She acted like she was doing me a huge favor by lowering the price to $99 an hour and was not at all apologetic that I did not get what I asked and planned for. The movers were amicable and easy to work with, but did not have a good organized system for loading and unloading. I moved my belongings with them for the entire 5 hours it took to load and unload the truck. Several of my pieces of furniture that they moved are scratched now. At the end of the night, I spoke with Tracy again to let her know my discontent with not receiving what I had asked for, the fact that it took 5 hours to move everything, and the fact that I felt disrespected as a customer. I was certainly upset, but again got no apology and instead Tracy hung up on me. When I called back, Rick (the co-owner of the company) answered the phone and told me that "some people you just can't please" -- as though I were completely unjust in the fact that I was so irritated. He told me I should quit my "self righteous barking." I paid more money and spent more time than I had anticipated, and was insulted at the same time, despite being a paying customer of Xtreme Moving. I would highly discourage anyone hoping for an organized, efficient, stress-free move from using their services. Their self-edited reviews on their own website do not accurately portray the company.
