Roswell >Spa Sydell Woodstock
I AM STILL IN PAIN! I was at the spa over two weeks ago for a deep tissue massage. Olivia was my massage therapist & she "overstretched" my neck. basically she tilted my neck to one side while she pushed down on my shoulder blades. who does that? needless to say, two weeks later I am still in pain & now its spreading to my upper back. I contacted the office about 5 days later & they provided me a complimentary massage (which was actually good--the massage therapist was called Nicole) but i still had to pay tip on that & one visit is not going to fix my neck. i would have to go back multiple times to fix this (then pay tip on top of that each time??). I would NOT recommend.
This was a horrible experience. They misscheduled my appointment time and then did not give me the full service. I made an appointment and they called me a day later and asked if I could come in earlier. I told them I could not and then they still scheduled me for the wrong time. I did not get the hour facial that I was supposed to get. It was such a horrible facial that I was glad I did not have to spend any more time there. It was not relaxing and she was in a hurry so that she could get off. If she had come out to get me on time on top of the fact that they scheduled me wrong then I would have had the full hour. She kept complaining that she needed to get off at 4:30 and apologized for havng garlic breath from lunch. I have had 50 facials in my lifetime and this was by far the worst. I had an appointmnet for a massage after and she gave me a robe with holes in it. Spa Sydell has really sunk to the pits. It's no wonder they keep offering groupons because that's the only way anyone will come. The employees seem very unhappy at the Roswell location. The customer does not want to hear alot of complaining. Even the receptionist complained that she had a bad day. Horrible experience and I will not ever go back.
After reading the other reviews I was a bit hesitant to go here, but since I received a gift certificate, I decided why not.
Stephanie gave me an express facial and I thought it was amazing! She told me about all the products being used, and gave me an awesome massage. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Not to mention that my skin looks great.
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SPA SYDELL.
I was give a gift certificate to Spa Sydell. I was so excited I could'nt wait to go.
Greeting staff were courteous but it goes down fast from there. I elected for the facial and a manicure.
FIRST, THE FACIAL..The technician hurriedly slathered the oils on my face, not paying any attention whatsoever that she was also getting it all over my hair. She acted as if I was an unpleasant interruption to her day. Honestly, I was eagerly anticipating an end to the experience. Instead of feeling like I had a cleansing facial, I felt like a grease head and there was no way I could be seen in public afterwards with this oily mess all over my hair.
NOW COMES THE MANICURE..Even the cheap salons make your nails look presentable but after leaving Spa Sydell, I went home with my greasy hair and took off the nail polish that was lumpy and speared all over my cuticles.
THEN COMES THE TIP.. I always tip 20% or more for any service. I was actually even more generous this time but when the facial tech came up front to make sure she was getting her share of the proceeds, she looked at the 22% tip and gave a snarly glance and disappeared back into the salon.
NEVER AGAIN for Spa Sydell. I am treating a friend (any myself) to a different spa for her birthday this coming weekend. From the reviews I have read about this other salon, it will be a MUCH BETTER experience.
NIGHTMARE! HORRIBLE, WASTE OF TIME & MONIES!!!!!. Today I went in and treated a co-worker who lost her job when I did due to downsizing of company. She had a manicure and I had a pedicure (manicure $30 pedicure $50), one would think going to SPA SYDELL that it would be like night and day in comparison with the Nail salons that you see on every corner. The technician used apparently the last bottle in the place and even had the nerve to use a thinner in the bottle to get the last of the polish instead of going to retrieving a new bottle of polish. Well the results was an uneven, missed on the side of the nail and just a rough appearance. And what took us over the top was when we witnessed her pick at my pedicure that she had painted 1 coat and noticed that skin was still present on the nail and instead of removing the paint altogether and then removing the skin and repainting, it made for a messy and rough look. I WILL LOCATE EVERY REVIEW PAGE FOUND FOR SPA SYDELL AND POST THIS REVIEW AS WELL AS TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW AND DON'T ABOUT NIGHTMARE, OVERRATED, WASTE OF TIME & MONIES RIP OFF SPA SYDELL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing Massage!. From the moment I walked into Spa Sydell, Roswell Corners, I was greeted with a warm smile and welcomed graciously. They made sure I was comfortable immediately and checked me in so I could be ready for my massage. My masseuse, John, also made me feel comfortable immediately and he asked me questions so that he could meet my personal needs. The massage was amazing!!!! His attention to detail was impressive and he used techniques that I have never had done to me before. I could tell he was knowledgeable and experienced and really knew how to work on the knots in my back as well as make me feel totally at ease. It was the best massage that I have ever had and would highly recommend checking out Spa Sydell, Roswell Corners.
