Above average pizza @ a good price.
Our family has visited the restaurant and ordered take out several times. Our consensus is that the pizza is far better than chains like Pizza Hut, offering good choices of specialty pizzas and doing a good job with basic choices as well. I've had a few pizzas that were a little better, but I'm consistently happy with what we get from Pizza Vito.
Really like the food and the service.
I moved to the Roswell Crabapple area in the last year and noticed Pizza Vito on the corner. Eventually, I went there one day and my friend and I ordered the Manhattan. We both thought it was fabulous and when my brother came to visit from Texas, we took him there and he raved about it. He's been back to visit 3 times this year and we have to have one of their pizzas each time he comes.
My brother's in-laws are Italian from Brooklyn and Staten Island and they moved to this area. They recently had a family/friend get together at their house and I said I would bring pizza. I took about 10 various Pizza Vito pizzas and they loved them all.
What made it even better is that I had coupons from another pizza place and they accepted the coupons and that saved me maybe $30 on the price. They were very friendly and helpful telling me about the various pizzas and even helping me carry them to the car when I picked them up.
I haven't had been able to get over there for just a slice, but am keeping it in mind. And I have my eye on those calzones and stombolis on their menu. If they're as good as the pizza, I'll be a happy camper. I had a calzone in NYC late one night with the ricotta cheese and that's just over the top - almost too rich to handle.
When I think of pizza, the first place I think of is Pizza Vito. BTW, I'm not that easy to please.
