Noni's is a fun Old Fourth Ward restaurant specializing in Italian sandwiches and pastas. My go-to selection is the farfalle with pancetta cream sauce. Stay tuned to their social media sites for details on late night dance parties
Nice Bar in the HOOD!. This bar/restaurant has a great atmoshpere. Warning, the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but if you can look past that aspect its a great bar. Saturday nights are awesome, the place gets packed. And it's a literal dance party and the music is awesome. So if its Saturday night and you ain't got nothin to do, check it out!
My favorite restaurant and spot to hang out in Atlanta!. Noni's is so cool. I go there during the day and evening to eat authentic and delicious Italian food. Yesterday, I had chose their fluffy, hand made Farfalle (bowtie) pasta with a tantalizing pancetta and cream sauce and topped with fragrant arugula. It was such a soothing and comforting dish on a cold, cloudy day, yet flavorful and interesting at the same time. I also like to go there for late night because the bar scene and music is awesome. It's so refreshing to have a restaurant/bar in the neighborhood that plays ONLY awesome music. No top 40's garbage here! The beer and wine list are top notch and the drinks are stiff and staff is ultra-cool and friendly to boot!
Check it out.. Food is quite good. Neighborhood is improving. Staff is very friendly. Pricing is very reasonable. Ignore the activity on the street. They are all accustomed to being ignored and are, for the most, part harmless.
Scrumptrulescent!. What a find. Can't believe a place this good just opened in my neighborhood. For the price, the food was incredibly fresh, the wait staff couldn't have been friendlier/more knowledgeable, the space is easily the best-looking spot on the street. Very impressed.
A sparkling spot amid a tough stretch of Edgewood..
In Short
The Edgewood side of the Old Fourth Ward isn't exactly known for its culinary mainstays, but Noni's glass-front windows say an aggressive hello to new neighbors and colorful passersby. Named after one of the owner's grandmothers, the place is an ode to charm with wood-barrel walls, a grandfather clock and just enough modern lines for a hiply antique vibe. Affluent new residents flock to the center-squared bar for pints of Leffe and debate over what songs to snag from the jukebox. The menu is based loosely on grandma's cookbook with affordable Italian and deli fare. Potent, house-made fennel sausage, light wheat pastas and fresh-pressed sandwiches are easy and likeable. The mozzarella, basil and tomato panini is laced with balsamic for an added tang, and don't go light on that choice of side item--Noni's fries are garlic heavy and gone before you know it.
