I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PLACE!!!!. The customer service here is the worse the service had an attitude as soon as he came to the table. The server came back every 2 seconds asking us if we were ready to order . An we told him we were not ready yet .

then he come back an says we have to go because we did'nt order fast enough .

And he brought the manager over an he told us the same thing . DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!!!!

shredded beef enchiladas!. I don't know why more Mexican places don't use shredded beef. I think it's so superior to ground beef. I absolutely love La Fonda for their fish tacos, paella, cuban sandwiches and even burritos. I've never tried their enchiladas before, so I took a risk with their shredded beef version the last time I was at the Howell Mill location, and I loved it. The meat is flavorful and seasoned, and the pair of enchiladas weren't on the overly huge size making you enjoy the experience rather than leave there as Super-Bloated Guy. For Americanized Latin food, this has been my go-to for years. Nice to have yet another new favorite on their menu.

Westside location boasts a great patio, same reliable chow.. In Short
While La Fonda locations are super-easy to please, some locales are cramped (Buckhead, Ponce) to the point of being uncomfortable. The Westside location flattens any notion of poor layout with a spacious dining room and massive outdoor patio. And the food doesn’t miss a beat. House-made tortilla chips and wonderfully tomato-heavy salsa arrive almost as soon as you get out of your car and the kitchen churns out Pan-Latin dishes at a similar speedy pace. Skillets of paella del mar, arroz con pollo, and stuffed quesadillas are huge, so ration the chips and split an order of crispy, salty tostones or sweet maduros to get your meal started. Tilapia tacos come wrapped in grilled tortillas with a tangy sauce drizzled on top that adds great zest, and the Cuban sandwich is always a crowd pleaser. There are certainly more authentic Latin places out there, but this setting is hard to beat.
