A French-style country market and sandwich shop in Kirkwood.. In Short It’s not often you find country-style screen doors in the bottom of cookie-cutter mixed-use developments. But then again, Le Petit March is not your everyday breakfast/lunch/specialty spot. French for “The Little Market” and located in the heart of Kirkwood, you immediately get the sense that everything here is thoughtful. Gourmet sandwiches (lunch and breakfast) and salads round out the menu while imported oils, infused peanut butters and spice packages tempt you on the market end. We’re not sure if “Mom’s Famous Homemade Soups” are actually famous, but they are indeed made by the owner’s mother, and not sampling whatever is steaming in the giant pot would be unfortunate. PB&J sandwiches are made cutely for kids and adults and feature multiple types of peanut butters and jams. Missed-matched tables and a high-top bar with a street side view is just the reason you need to sit down and stay a while.
