NY-taste (but not vibe) in the Marietta Square.. In Short Though not much of this deli is very reminiscent to an actual deli within the Big Apple, locals seem not to care as they pack it out daily. Chances are during the lunch rush you will be greeted by a line snaking towards the door, though this deters nobody with the appetite for any of NYD’s dozens of deli creations, soups of the day, salads, and burgers. Dark, cherry wood floors plus exposed plaster and brick walls are adorned with old-timey photos of the Marietta Square upon which it sits. Courthouse employees, uniform workers, and locals fill up the tables and booths after they order at the counter and wait to hear their name bellowed. Unique items such as the Greek pita with chicken, peppers and feta are next to the standard Reuben and Club on the menu.
