LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SERVICE. After having the service for five years at the same location and no new development they stopped picking up the trash while still billing us. After bringing this to their attention, I was told with a straight face that cars across the street are blocking trash pick-up. Funny that for the last five years the same cars have always parked in the exact spot. At no time did we get credit for the lack of service. Games.......
wish I could switch. Where to start! First off, they have a contract with the city that I'm in so I can't switch no matter how much I dislike them. They're payment website is ridiculous. They're the only trash company I've seen that doesn't discount your trash for recycling. I have to dodge trash cans in the road every trash day. And the truck drives down the center of the road in subdivisions. I can't think of a single decent thing to say about them
They could not get my bill right to save my life. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with one lady that was nice and thought it was straight about 2 months ago, when out of the blue I got a bill from them AGAIN last week that was completely wrong. I had paid what the lady told me I owed 6 weeks ago and that was supposed to have me current through the end of June, but they wanted to charge me ANOTHER $90. So I canceled service with them...really how hard is it to bill properly?
They only got one star b/c CitySearch requires a rating..otherwise I wasn't going to give them anything.
Horrible customer service. We've had Robertson Sanitation for over 6 years. When we initially signed up, they were the cheapest in town for trash pick up. In the last two years, the fee has increased from $32/quarter to $62/quarter. They are now the HIGHEST priced trash service around. I cancelled my service in December and as of Jan 18, my empty bins still sit in my front yard on the curb waiting to be picked up. Now, I received a bill threatening collections and extra fines because I didn't pay for January - March service--which had been cancelled. I'm really not sure where they are going wrong, but obviously there are A LOT of problems in the office areas.
Rates keep going up.
Robertson Sanitation was the least expensive, according to many of our neighbors. After the whole trash debate in Gwinnett County, we switch over to Robertson Sanitation from Allied Waste, which are sister companies, we found out. A year later, our bill has gone up $20.00.
For the service we receive, we should be receiving more for the money they are charging.
If the County truly wants to do something about the trash service, I feel that they should step in and put a stop to this over charging for service. We are all having difficult times right now, the last thing we need is for bills that should stay the same amount, to keep going up.
I am uncertain if there is a company that charges less then $65.00 for service.
It's a GREAT PLACE!!!. Its a wonderful place. PPL put ur trash & recycle out when your are supposed to and you would not be missed. They do not charge extra for recycle service & our customer service ppl are the BEST.. Pay ur bills on time and you would not be on shut off/stop service. It's the same ppl over and over. Ppl complain about the trash get a life, we service house hold garbage, not tires, or metal or construaction debris. So get it together ppl, take you non household trash to a place that accepts it and pay for it stop putting it in your household trash. Save your planet. We recently got a new phone system and our call volume are more heavy than before so yes you may be on hold for a while but other than that we provide great service. Our drivers do their best and have several rules to follow for saftey they bust their behiinds to pick ur trash and recycle up so have a little more common respect to put your damn trash and recycle out on time and it will get pick up. If you dont work in the sanitation field then show some respect, for the DIRTY job that they do. The are sometimes chased by dogs, snakes in trash cans, bee's all kind of weird things, working in heat, rain, cold weather. So before you go complaining again think if that was your career and your loved one out their doing that job. The WINDER OFFICE is great keep up the terrfic work guys. WE LOVE WHAT YOU DO!!!!!
Bad awful, horrible and I dont even have service!.
I was told that they have good rates. I spent close to an hour on the phone with them, 99% of that was on hold. I asked to speak to the manager, she put me on an additional 15 minute hold. I think that the 'good' reviews and rebuttals of the "bad" reviews were put there by the employees, because, they are awfully protective.

Do Not Use This Business.
1) Robertson Sanitation charges a $25 account set up fee for residential service. Other waste companies do not charge this set up fee.
2) Robertson Sanitation missed two of the first four weeks of pick up service.
3) Robertson Sanitation took over a week to cancel my service. I was told the "computer system is down" for a week.
4) After closing your account, Robertson Sanitation requires you to leave their trash can out on the curb for up to three weeks so they can mosey round and pick it up sometime.
Service done right!!!!!!.
I dont understand all the negative reviews about this company. I only have very good things to say
about customer service and the pick-up people.
Be kind to this people, the just do ther very important job as been told, and the same people will be kind
LOGANVILLE R.S. HORRIBLE.. I've been a customer of Robertson's for the past 8 years. I am finally canceling my service with them today. Problems included: not picking up trash, not picking up recycle, picking up one but not the other. Each time this happens I call in (they say they?ll make a note) and the next week -same issue. I call back up -they have no notes of the last call. This has happened OVER AND OVER again over the course of the last 8 years. The last straw was last month - my recycle bin was stolen and I called them to get it replaced. Again they gave me the (it's been noted line) and of course, 2 weeks later and still no recycle bin. This company floors me with their complete lack of attention to their customers. You?ve been warned.
