Ammazza

The pizza wars have been raging in Atlanta for years now with competing restaurants trying to out-Neapolitan each other at every turn. While this newcomer is aiming for the perfect Naples pie, they don’t stress out getting tomatoes or pizza ovens from the old country. Mozzarella is prepared in-house and cured meats come from artisan butcher, The Spotted Trotter down the street. Homemade meatballs, the margherita pie and craft beers from Clown Shoes & Wild Heaven are just a few highlights we enjoyed, and thankfully for Old Fourth Ward clubgoers, they’re open until 2a.m. on the weekends.
