Great small business, highly recommend.
I bought a used/refurbished washer drier set from John's Used Appliances when I first moved to Statham 5 years ago. I felt I got them for a fair price.
Last weekend the washer dies after five years of heavy use. (the dryer still works fine.) I called John's to see if he could come out and see if it could be fixed. The main switch had gone out. So I bought a newer Maytag from John's for less than half of what a comparable new washer would cost.
I highly recommend giving John your business if you want an inexpensive refurbished washer or drier. He stands behind his products and installations. Dealing with him has always been a pleasant experience.

The WORST. I purchsed a washer, dryer, and refrigerator from John's and I have had problems with ALL of them. I tried to contact John to come out and repair the appliances that I purchased from him but...he NEVER called me back. I ended up calling someone else to fix the appliances. The dryer had soooo much lint in it that it had started to blacken (it looked like it was burnt...) and the problem ended up being a loose connection that was a FIRE HAZARD!! I had only had the dryer for about six weeks. It was a simple fix (especially the six years worth of lint) that should have checked by John's prior to them selling it. The refrigerator lasted a little longer...I had a service man look at it today and was informed that John, of John's Used Appliances...does NOT refurbish his products prior to reselling....( like I didn't know that) and what he does is purchase appliances that have been returned to the manufacturer and should be DESTROYED.... Pretty much all John does is plug the appliance in and make sure it turns on. I would not recommend John's used appliances to anyone...I feel like they took advantage of me and they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS REGARDING REPAIRS.
