Celeb hot spot STK now has a sassy Italian sister next door with the introduction of Cucina Asellina to Peachtree Street. Steaks and martinis have given way to Italian cuisine from Chef Marco Porceddu, a transplant of Naples, at work making Atlanta more delicious. As any Italian restaurant worth its truffle salt, the restaurant boasts a wood-burning oven for their flatbreads and an impressive wine list. Pasta options include a saffron invention laden with shrimp and old-fashioned square spaghetti with pomodora and fresh basil. The patio is waiting for you.

Very Disappointing. We were very excited to try a new place and could not have been more disappointed. First all the tables are high tops - not relaxing at all. Service was horrible. Music way too loud for a Saturday night dining ... reminded me of Hard Rock Cafe. I am not sure who their target demographics are, but it is not people that are frequent diners at their price point. Food was far below average, my pasta was way under cooked. Mussel special was bland and half the mussels not open. Ordered a $100 bottle of wine and it was hot. They were clueless. Will not be back.
