If you are into multisport, you need to get into Podium. Bike fitting services are top notch as Matt and Allen really know how to correctly position a rider for maximum comfort and power. The changes they made to my fit have had a huge impact on my overall performance and it now feels like i am riding a brand new bike.
These guys have a true passion for what they do and it shines through in their attention to detail and customer service. The atmosphere is great, service is spectacular and the amount of knowledge they have pulled together under one roof is quite impressive. Great place.
Best Mechanics in Atlanta – Podium has collected arguably the best three mechanics in the greater Atlanta area. There is obvious pride in workmanship and maintenance is done right the first time. I know these guys work on my bike with the same diligence and care with which they work on their own bikes.
Staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. The gang likes to talk bikes and gear. Good luck finding a better fitting expert. You won't find one.
There are two shops closer to home but I drive to Podium, every time.
Great place for someone new to Triathalons – Only went in to buy some sunglasses, but Allen Heaton engaged me in Tri-talk and more or less became a TriGuru for me right away. I'd never done a Tri and didn't know much about the Tri bike I had recently bought on e-bay. He gladly answered a bunch of stupid questions for me, made me feel at ease, got me fitted for the bike and got the perfect clothes for me. He really made sure everything went perfectly for my first Triathalon. I was most impressed by the fact that he NEVER tried to sell me something that I didn't need or that I didn't inquire about. It really seemed like he was much more interested in making sure that my Tri experience was great rather than making a lot of money off of me.
Swim, bike, or run to Podium! – I cannot be more pleased that there is a new triathlon store intown. I cannot be more pleased that Matt Cole is running it. I have already visited Podium Multisport several times and each time I have been thoroughly impressed. Matt and his staff are friendly and helpful. The store is immaculate. There is an especially large selection of nutrition amongst all the other goodies one might expect.
Most recently, I went in for new bike shoes and left with a pair that fit perfectly. I learned a lot about road bike vs. triathlon specific shoes in the process. There’s not just loads of gear to get you giddy: check twitter/facebook for updates on runs and rides from the store.
Whether you are thinking about your first race or you are a Kona qualifier, do yourself a favor and check out Podium Multisport!
Service, Expertise, and Inventory – Walk into most bike shops, and you'll get ignored unless you're Lance Armstrong. But Matt has created an atmosphere that caters to the seasoned Ironman veteran as well as the novice who's going to get hooked after one trip to Podium Multisport.
Attention to detail means attention to the customer, and Matt makes everyone who comes into his store feel immediately at home. It's his vision to create a community of endurance athletes in Atlanta, and he's well on the way. With Allan Heaton (the man responsible for my bike fit which qualified me for Kona) and Gregg on board, Podium has some of the best in the business. And they back it up with a 2 DAY TURN AROUND ON REPAIRS--find that at another shop.
Throw in an awesome selection of equipment, clothes, and nutrition as well as Computrainer Classes, group training rides/runs, and seminars to make you faster on race day and you know you've come to the right place.
Step into Podium so you can step on the Podium!
The only logical choice – I just took delivery of my new Parlee TT from Podium Multisport and all that I can say is wow! My bike was packed as expertly and with great care. Everything was done to the exact specifications that owner Matt Cole had determined were ideal for me. Long story short, the second ride that I took on the bike was good enough for fastest bike split, 3rd overall and first Masters in a local sprint. Matt is the only person that I trust enough to ride a brand new bike in a race without feeling nervous.
The shop is stunning! A 6 bay computrainer studio, shower, fit studio and coffee. What more could you want? They carry many of the brands that you already know about and other products that you should know about. I didn't know much about Parlee bikes and purchased on Matt's recommendation. He was right as usual. I have NO regrets about my decision.
The staff is approachable and helpful without being snotty, and yes, you can find someone to help you.
Multisports Store at it's finest – Podium Multisports is where it's at.
1. Location, Location, Location (Very Convenient)
2. World Class Customer Service down to the
Master Mechanics Gregg and Allan
3. Cleanliness; I'd eat off the floor
4. Knowledgeable and Informative staff
5. Vision: Matt, you've outdone yourself Buddy
6. Everything you need from Cycling, Swimming,
Running, Nutrition, Clothing, and Training.
I can't wait for the Rides and Runs out of the shop...
Great shop for women! – Great selection of womens clothing not to mention all the accessories you could ever need for a triathlon. Love the zonolite area and the gun range across the street is a must visit to and I will be heading there after I visit podium. Matt is the reason I will continue to come here, he knows his stuff and always provides you with the most current information. Can't wait to start the computrainer classes to help me train for my ironman. Love this place!
Intown Triathlon Store...Go Check it Out – First heard about the shop from SEE_ME and finally had a chance to check it out. A very well thought-out design whose open feel lends itself to the triathlon atmosphere. Some what new to the sport, having come from a background in running, and have been looking for the perfect shop, this is definitely it. The knowledgeable staff helped guide me into buying the perfect pair of race wheels explaining to me the difference between the type of wheel and the different brands.
I have a fit scheduled with Matt for the upcoming week...finally going to take the plunge and buy a tri bike. From what I could see by watching him do a fit for another athlete, he knew what he was talking about and was helping guide people into making the right decision with what would work best for them. Can't wait to see where my fit takes me.
Best Triathlon Store in Georgia! – Came by for the Grand Opening last week and was pleasantly surprised to see Matt had opened his own tri shop. The shop is a true masterpiece with no detail overlooked, all the way down to the two store signs out front-one of the nicest signs I have ever seen. They carry a wide range of hard to find multisport accessories and the store is very convenient to the intown crowd- A must visit for any triathlete as the staff at the store knows their stuff! Will be coming back often to feed my multisport addiction!!!
