Delicious food! Great experience!. We use scoutmob to find new places, and I must say that we found a place that we will go back! I was not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly suprised with the whole experience. The restaurant is small-medium sized with a really nice ambiance. We went on a weeknight, and it was not very crowded, but the service was great. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had. It was tender (not rubbery), cooked just right, and meaty. The hush puppies and biscuits were yummy too. I enjoyed my meal of fried lobster and filet. I've never had fried lobster before, so I cannot compare it, but it was delicious. The filet was good, not the best I've ever had, but it was cooked to my specification, and I thouroughly enjoyed it. I left very satisfied with my experience and will return!

Pathetic for a Paul restaurant. We went in with very high expectations, our waitress was very attentive (European) I think, We ordered the Flounder which arrived looking pretty but was under cooked. If I wanted sushi, I would have opted for a Japanese restaurant. Terribly overpriced, trendy but without substance. I used to eat at Pano's and Paul's very frequently. I would say this is definitely a "floundering" concept for Paul! Sad!

Soon to be trendy with fair service and fair food. Great atmosphere, colors, old tin buckets and wonderful woodwork makes this restaurant standout among others… However, there were more negatives than positives at least on our first visit. Keep in mind that we were one of the first customers of the evening. More wait staff than customers. Sounds great.

Three times my water glass was empty and we had to request a refill. The clams were very good but the pasta was overcooked. My crab and stuffed baked flounder was somewhat on the dry side and with little taste. The spinach was almost cool to the touch. A request to warm up the spinach resulted in nuclear hot. Managers to interested in gabbing with the wait staff rather than serviceing the customers. One waiter even made fun of an older couple that entered and had to hold out the menu in order to read. They left after no one offered assistance and reviewing the menu.

Over-priced but will do well among the trendy who lack any palate sophistication. Service was fair at best.
