Good Weave @ a GREAT price !! B. So my regular hairstylist moved to DC about 14 months ago and I have been searching aimlessly since then for someone to do a good weave. I am used to paying $200-$300 for the service, so I was skeptical about the $50 pricing. If it's too good to be true and all that.......Anywho, I was lured in by the pictures of work done so I closed my eyes and made an appt. @ the College Park location. First of all, the salon was clean and and most of the stylists appeared to be professional. I opted to get the "Legend" weave service for $100, plus an addtional service which brought my total to $125.No deceptive pricing. I got exactly what I paid for. A young girl was assigned to braid my hair first, which she did. However, when it was time to have my tracks sewn in by the actual stylist, it was decided that the braids were sub par and she took all of them out and re-braided the hair herself. I was pleased that she cared enough to recognize the importance of a good foundation for a sew in. Although she never said anything to the young girl who braided my hair, it seemed to me that it would have been an excellent learning opportunity had she pulled the girl over and showed her how the braids should have been done. Anyways, my stylist (Lauren) did a great job with my weave. It's tight, it's flat and it moves. All in all, I would definitely recommend them. The price was honest, fair and upfront. The service/ambiance was pleasant and the stylists seem to know what they are doing. The only reason I did not give them an "A" is because the young girl who braided me was NOT professional and I feel like they could have taken a little more time/effort with the initial consultation.

Best Weave Ever!. The Weave Express was a delightful experience. Once I arrived at the salon the owner assisted me in selecting a stylist, the correct hair texture (they sell hair at the salon), hair color and also a cut suitable to me and my lifestyle.

Overall I would give this salon an A+. The location is also good for me because I work in the Midtown/Downtown area. Love the hair, Love the service and LOVE the price.

The Best Weave Shop I Have Visited!!!. I am very picky when it comes to customer service and getting my hair done. I have visited several fifty dollar weave shops, but none compare to this one! The ambience is great and so is the customer service. In and out in no time. I have visted both locations and received the same great service. I love my hair and the service I will continue to patronize THE WEAVE EXPRESS!!!

TOP Notch Salon/LOW pricing. When I was referred to this salon by a friend..I was a somewhat skeptical. TO my surprise, after paying 200-300 dollars for my hair/for many years, I didn't think it could be done for $50.00...I can say I have been proven wrong!!

I love my hair and I will be back!!

Weave Express Pricing. I just wanted to relay to you the unpleasant experience that I had today in your salon. As a new customer, I felt very deceived about your pricing. I would think that a business owner would want and need to be upfront about the cost of their services before starting on a customer's head. in my case, this did not happen. in fact, the cost of my services went up from $60 to $75 to $100 by the time I sat in the stylist's chair. The change of pricing changed but not the style requested from the beginning. I want to offer some advice which is have a consultation with client before starting a service and stick with the price quoted unless a change is made by the customer. One good thing is that Alexis took the time to explain the pricing after she noticed that the price on the client card was incorrect. Regardless of the finished producr, I will not be returning when I left felt very deceived.
