I will sign up next month. I tried the mobile version and it's plans start at $30/month, that is about 50%less than all the other air cards on the market.

They all start at $59.99 and then you are FORCED into a contract, have to do the stupid mail-in rebates that I HATE and require a deposit.

When I get paid next month i am going to sign up with Clear WiMAX

Just disappointed. I am very disappointed so far with Clear WiMax. I went to a retail outlet at a mall near me and got lots of guarantees about how fast the service was and even saw on a google earth map what the coverage was at my house and it looked awesome.

After hooking it up and moving it around to every room in the house, I can barely get 1 bar on the modem and get no signal on the USB mobile antenna. Download speed tests reports 750 KBPS from the modem, not the 6 MBPS I am paying for. It's slower then my cable modem.

Clear Internet is awesome!. Clear Internet is awesome! I've had it since it first came out and I have been more than satisfied with the service. I run and E-commerce business and I have never had a faster mobile Internet, I can work from anywhere within the city!

super fast speed!. I love the fact that I can check my emails on my way to work. I subscribed to the $80 monthly price. Even if it's a little pricy, the connection and speed is super fast, maybe it's my phone or really just the connection itself . Clear internet service is great!

Clear is perfect for travel!. I take the bus to my school’s campus every day. I love being able to plug in my CLEAR modem and do work on my laptop during the ride. I can e-mail assignments, do last-minute studying and watch lectures. It’s awesome.

Clear a total waste of money. It's not worth it at all. You're talking about a spotty service that runs on WiMAX which will be obsolete within a couple of years. So best bet is to just go with 3G until LTE springs on Verizon or AT&T. That or get FiOS if it's for home use. FiOS is the best QoS money can buy (in this area). Keep in mind, they suck as far as customer service goes...but their speed and connections are bar none here.

Clear Internet is amazing. It's a small thing, but the most amazing part is that all you have to do is plug in the power supply, and then hook it up to your computer or your wireless router. There aren't any other lights on the Clear modem except 5 signal strength indicators - and that's all you do.
