Winnie Couture was the best decision I could have made and my dress was breathtaking. I discovered Winnie Couture bridal gowns at a Bridal Show in Atlanta, GA and out of all of the venders there, Winnie Couture by far had the best gowns. Immediately after the show, I knew I wanted Winnie couture to design my wedding gown and my vision of a modern, form fitting mermaid gown was no challenge for them.
I initially visited the Winnie couture location in Atlanta with my mother and I was thoroughly impressed with the salon as it was elegant and the staff provided legendary customer service. Every gown I touched was gathered and prepped for me to try on and instantly my eyes locked on "Fawne" a beautiful mermaid gown on a mannequin which was the first gown I tried on. I honestly fell in love with the first gown I tried on and I did not want to try on anymore gowns. The gown was a great fit and enhanced my curves. My mom said it was the most beautiful gown in the world and I agreed. After adding crystals to the gown and 2 additional feet to the train, I said yes to the dress!
On my wedding day I felt how every bride should feel. I felt beautiful, elegant, sexy and all eyes were on me. I received several compliments on my beautiful gown and I did not want to take it off. I wish I could wear my wedding gown everyday!! Well maybe not everyday, just once a week......
Thank you Winnie Couture for making all of my dreams come true!
Gorgeous place, gorgeous dresses, gorgeous atmosphere! I am not a girl who is high maintenance in general, but I am very VERY picky when picking out clothes and especially my wedding dress. Before Winnie, the first place I went to was a nightmare. I felt like a rat in a cage on display in tolerably pretty dresses but none of them fit right, they were all well worn and some smelly, and cheaply made. The girl that was helping me at this first place was disinterested and seemed bored. Needless to say I was very discouraged. I agreed to go to Winnie because a friend of mine had found her dress there and raved about it. As soon as I stepped foot into Winnie Couture I was greeted by warm friendly people who had a genuine desire to help me, understand exactly what I was looking for and what was in my price range. I cannot stress that word GENUINE. These girls are so sweet, not judgmental, and honestly want you to be happy. My dress stylist, Winer, was so helpful, made suggestions, and listened to my feedback. The dresses are phenomenal quality. They are nothing compared to anything you will find in major retail bridal shops, you can feel and readily see the difference. Once I tried on the perfect dress I knew that was it, Winer intelligently encouraged me to try on a few more styles that I liked and compare what I liked and didn’t like about each dress. It’s like she could read my mind, I would just have an idea of something and she would come out and say it and then assist me in finding what was perfect for me and fit me best. They didn’t try to “upsell” you or make you pay for something you didn’t want and or need. Please listen when I tell you that altering your dress to your actual measurements is the best thing I could have ever done on my wedding day. I felt like a supermodel and my dress fit like a glove. It is well worth the money especially if you know your weight doesn’t typically fluctuate much. My hubby loved my gorgeous dress, it was beautiful bustled and with the train, perfect for my outdoor wedding, and perfect for dancing the night away. Winer was a Godsend and just a beautiful, wonderful person. She helped me so much and I just cannot say enough positive things about this palce, the gowns, and the people! Winnie Couture will definitely be the best decision you ever made for your wedding day (besides your groom of course!).
I adored being a Winnie Couture bride :)
I got engaged on June 15, 2012. I had been dreaming about my wedding since I was a little girl, so I was anxious to get the planning started...and that included wedding dress shopping! After setting our wedding date - July 20, 2013 - I immediately made an appointment at Winnie Couture. My best friend had purchased her wedding gown there for her April 2012 wedding, and I was so impressed with the salon's expansive collection of gowns. Above all, however, the customer service was top-notch. It was an easy decision to begin my dress shopping at Winnie Couture.
I went in for my first appointment on Saturday, July 28, 2012. I had done some research on what style dress I was looking for: drop-waist, sweetheart neckline with a fully embellished skirt. I informed my mom, future mother-in-law, and four of my five bridesmaids that this was what I had in mind, and then released them to the racks! With help from you, we took our first armful of dresses into the dressing room. The first gown I tried on was exactly what I was looking for...but it fell flat. It was a beautiful gown, but it made my already petite frame look even more petite. We moved on to dress two and three, both of which also matched my vision but elicited the same reaction. I was standing on the pedestal in dress three and noticed a gown on display at the back of the salon. It was different than the ones I had been trying on, but I thought it might be a good idea to try a new direction. I asked to try it on. I didn't even have to see it in the mirror to know that I loved it. It was the "Kamilia" gown: cream pearl in color, sweetheart neckline, fit-to-flare with a dramatic, detachable train. When I emerged from the dressing room, I got the reaction I was hoping for. When i looked in the mirror, I knew that it would be the dress I would marry my fiance in. With a few slight changes - removing a few fabric rosettes and lowering the back of the gown - I did just that on July 20th. I will never forget the way that Grant looked at me in that dress.
In retrospect, I believe that that gown chose me. All three dresses that I had initially tried on were ones pulled from the racks by someone else. My dress was one that had caught my eye and begged me to try it on. My lucky number is four, so it's fitting that my wedding gown was the fourth one I tried on.
i can't thank you, and Winnie Couture, enough for your service. You made wedding dress shopping the easiest thing in my planning process. I have, and will always, recommend Winnie Couture to any bride-to-be.Your sophisticated style, coupled with you friendly and knowledgeable staff, will continue to set your salon apart. I adored being a Winnie Couture bride, and I wish my experience on every bride!
I absolutely loved my dress from Winnie Couture! I knew exactly what I wanted but was having a hard time finding it in my price point, and/or that I felt was good quality. Luckily, I stumbled upon Winnie Couture in Atlanta and when I did, I knew it was where I would get my dress after finding "Edwina" online. It was exactly what I was looking for. I drove to Winnie Couture in Buckhead from Tennessee, and the large private rooms and delicious smell made me feel so bridal. I said yes to the dress of course, and was so grateful to finding this special designer as not only was the price right, I felt as though I got a VIP experience every bride should.
Winnie Couture is the BEST! I had a great experience there and recommend all brides to purchase from them. I didn’t have the slightest idea on what type of dress I wanted and I had waited so long to even purchase a dress. Winnie Couture helped me out so much I can’t thank them enough. My bridal consultant picked out the perfect dress, it is absolutely breath taking and they were able to rush order it. I was definitely a little worried about having it rushed I kind of thought it wouldn't come in perfect but I was wrong I pleasantly stunned when I picked up my dress. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!
I LOVE my dress! Winer was helpful every step of the way. I paid extra to have the bust opened up and my dress fit perfectly! Thank you Winnie Couture. I cannot wait to walk down the aisle in my beautiful gown.
I fell in love with this salon as soon as I walked inside! I had been looking for my dress for about 6 months and was running out of time and salons to try. Winnie was everything a bridal salon should be and I immediately told my mom this was where I was buying my dress before I tried anything on. Even though I had a specific image of the dress I wanted in my head (and they had that perfect dress there), a ball gown happened to catch my eye which was far from my the fit and flare I imagined. As soon as I walked out in the ball gown my mom started crying and I knew it was the one. We even bought all the jewelry there as well. My dress ended up coming in 2 months earlier than expected which was fabulous, and Jessica made the whole process easy for me. I felt beautiful and glamorous on my wedding day in my Kiera dress from Winnie Couture!
I’ve been to a couple of bridal stores and I couldn’t find a dress to fit me considering I am a plus size bride. So I call Winnie ask if they carry plus size dresses and they said yes so I make an appointment. I was nervous to go but I was welcomed and greeted very nicely. The store is gorgeous beautiful arrangement everywhere the colors are perfect pretty pink and gold a true bridal store for a princess. My stylist gave me a tour and she already had some dresses picked out for me that she thought would best for me based on our conversation on the phone. They are on top of everything very well prepared. I tired on the plus size gowns but also liked some of the dresses that weren’t in my size so I tried some on and my stylist made it work she made it happen so that I could get an idea of how the dress would look on me in the correct size. I was so happy! She made me feel comfortable. I got to walk around in the dress so that I could get a feel of the comfort level of the dress. I’m so happy I walked in to Winnie couture, I walked out with an excellent purchase!
Alexa in Buckhead was a dream to work with. We found the perfect dress in one day and with her help we altered the look of the back to create this look.
I have passed by Winnie Couture on Peachtree Rd many times, and I can see how the store can look intimidating because of the beautiful decor, but once you step inside the staff is very friendly, and the prices are not at all what you would expect for the latest trends. They help me find some great accessories to update my wardrobe. I wanted to try on wedding gowns that day and was told that I had to make an appointment. They explained to me that their policies were different then other bridal stores because the bridal stylist has to spend one on one time with you. I made an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. The bridal stylist knew just the dress for me! She really knows what looks best for your figure and how to give you your own unique look. Her service is amazing and I can see how this company is so successful only in 10 years. I would personally recommend this store to everyone who is looking for bridal and also for the latest fashions. I want to thank the Winnie Couture staff for the great experience.
