Get in My Tummy, Googie Burger!!!. Holy cow, best burger around! And I loved the fries with natural sea salt! I couldn't decide between the peach or Peanut Butter and Jelly Swirls, so my friend and I got them both and shared! I still can't decide which is my favorite, they were so good. Love you Googie Burger!

googie is goodie~. I was lucky enough to have a collegue bring me a GOOGIE burger for lunch. What a treat! Burger was perfectly cooked, bbq mustard sauce combined with pork and pickles was a stand out. If you are by Centennial Park make sure to stop by the walk-up stand, you wont be disappointed!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Taking over the space that was formally a snack bar in Centennial Olympic Park, this walk-up burger stand is a perfect fit for tourist-heavy downtown. The name "Googie" is taken from the term for 1950s-style futuristic architecture, and with a dramatic Jetsons-like angled exterior, the design is certainly pays proper homage. The menu is a simple throwback to a time of burgers, fries and shakes. While non-meat eaters can get a veggie or chicken burger, the Classic Googie--a single or double patty on a griddled potato roll, topped with drippy American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickle and their house sauce--is the way to go. Drinks include beer, wine, or better yet, a spiked milkshake. With only outdoor seating and virtually no free parking, this might not be a destination for Atlantans, but if you're already in the neighborhood, it's a culinary lifesaver.
