Where is Milana?.
Ok so I get a phone call confirming my appt for next day not even telling me my stylist Milana is no longer there, so I come in next day only for them to tell me I am scheduled with someone else there. How desperately this place was begging me to try out a new stylist they even offered something complimentary . I left there without a word. The situation was handled poorly.
P.S. If anyone has Milanas # please help me find her I don't know her last name. Salon wouldn't give me her info, I don't understand it...
Finally. Bill & Josh both worked on my hair & gave me whole new look that I LOVE - I was in desperate need of a change. Josh is the bomb - he takes his time & really knows what he's doing. I was impressed esp since he's so young. It's not cheap, but what do you expect in Buckhead? It was worth it for me - I got color, cut, & keratin and felt like a brand new gal when I left (many hours later :) )
Outrageously expensive, poor customer service!. OVER PRICED, UNDER RATED! My appointment was switched to owner w/o my permission, he charged $95 for a 10 minute haircut, which was shorter on one side than the other. I pointed this out and he told me that it was just the way it was styled. My hair is short and fine; I just wanted to keep my swing cut, not much to it. I used a $50 groupon for $110 worth of service. My final bill w/ foils, conditioner, cut and tip was $300! Color was great, cut was awful. The staff blew me off when I called to advise them of the situation. I was passed off from one person to the next. Left message for Bill to call me, which never happened. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES!

I decided to go to William David Salon after seeing a friends amazing cut and color.
I had attempted going blonde with my usual hairdresser (my hair was light brown) and it turned out horrible. I had already been looking for someone to fix it, so seeing my friends beautiful 'do' prompted me to schedule an appointment.
The first time I met Joshua was for my consultation. He sat me down and took a look at what i liked to call, "the damage" he was very optimistic to fixing the mess! We discussed his 'master plan' and scheduled an appointment for a week later.
In a total of two visits he made me into the blonde I've always wanted to be! it was like MAGIC! And the best part was, we got along SO WELL. He is very carefree and easy to talk to which made the hours go by quickly! (I have A LOT of hair!!)
Not only is he a color expert, but he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about a wide array of products. And I'm not just talking about what products smell better (lol), he knows it down to the SCIENCE and how certain ingredients work with your hair and most importantly, what would continue making my hair look FABULOUS!
To sum this up, Joshua did an AMAZING color job on my hair, along with the best haircut I've ever had! He is super friendly and well-informed about so many products on the market. Rather than push you to purchase products from the salon, he will educate you on your options and leave it up to YOU to decide.
I am so elated about my new hair, and will never go to anyone but Joshua!
KATIE is the BEST!!!. I came into William David Salon on a Friday to see Katie for a hi lite and a cut! Katie took the time to educate me about my hair and different products that I should use on my hair. I've never had a stylist to care so much about what I was putting on my hair! The cut that Katie gave me was amazing and my color was flawless! She was so excited about my hair color and I really enjoyed being in her company! The staff was also amazing they took the time to cater to any and everything that I might have needed! I can't wait to see Katie again! She's a super sweet girl and very talented!!! Katie is the stylist to see at William David salon!!! Thanks so much Katie for making my experience at the salon I GREAT ONE!!! YOU ROCK!!!
Great Experience!!!. I would first like to say that William David Salon has a team of very talented stylist! I came in the salon on a saturday and had hi lites done by Denise! My hair looks and feels great! The salon offered me cold water, tea, coffee etc! I felt like I was right at home getting my hair done! Joshua was working right next to Denise and his work was also amazing! I was in awe as I watched everyone working on their clients I got to see 2 other girls and their hair looked AWESOME!! I booked my next appointment in 6weeks with Denise and I'm looking forward to seeing her again! I told all of my friends and family about her!!!! William David Salon is awesome and I'm so glad that I came in!!! If you want great servie go see Denise!!!
My Salon Nightmare.
On Friday, March 11, I was excited as I entered the doors of the William David Salon in Buckhead. I was getting long extensions with long bangs by Denise. Five hours later, I was finally done. I was a bit perplexed because my hair did not lie flat on my head, but Denise told me to give it a day and my hair would “relax”. I get to the car and take a closer look in the visor mirror and my hair looks horrible. The tracks are showing in the front, the hair is lumpy and there are no layers throughout the head. To make matters worse, my real hair is cut! I immediately call the owner of the salon and tell him my ordeal. He seems really eager to assist and makes an appointment with me the following Tuesday.
During the weekend when people would see me the greeting was, “ WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!?!” Thank goodness I have fashionable hats.
Tuesday, March 15, I am once again in the William David Salon in Buckhead. This time I am not so excited. Bill, the owner introduces himself and begins the conversation by telling me that I got a “great deal” on the service. WAIT A MINUTE! How is it that I have a great deal on the service when I look like a banshee? I had to remind him cost is not an issue in this case; it is the quality of work--seriously I look like an experiment. Then he tells me that the style looks great to him…mind you I still have on my hat. Bill tells me how he has done hair weave for fashion shows, shoots, etc. After his ego boost, he then decides to “take a look” at my hair. He looks at the rising tracks, the loose braids, the BLONDE string, the unwanted cut to my real hair and says…NOT TOO BAD. I sat there in shock. Finally, I said, “excuse me? This is not good. The braids are loose and I got this done Friday at 5PM. The hair is not laying flat!” Oh, he had a reasoning for all:
1-My real hair cut: Well, his words exactly, “there is nothing I can do about your hair being cut!” I know you can’t DO anything about that; an ounce of compassion seems great at this point.
2-The lifting tracks: Because my hair is thick and the weft of the extension makes the track lumpy. REALLY???
3-The loose braids: Because Denise normally braids so small and tight that she had to do it looser---yeah, that sounds silly to me again as I type. AND because of hair growth…I promise my hair doesn’t grow that fast, since 5PM on Friday, come on!!!
4-The blonde string: It is covered! *blank stare
Noticing my complaints were combated by excuses. I just said I want this OUT. Bill tells me that he didn’t put it in so he is not taking it out (you have to laugh at this point). Another stylist, Samantha—she was there as I was getting my infamous weave-came to take it out. Mind you she didn’t “put it” in either. As she was taking out the monstrosity, her face looked so mystified, maybe she was thinking “how in the world?” When Samantha came across the BLONDE string in my hair she had to call in a witness, the two women stood shaking their heads. Not saying a word, just removing my tracks and gazing at each other in shame (yes, this work was done the William David Salon). FINALLY, the mess is out of my head. Samantha suggests to wash my hair. She does just that washes it and sends me out. No blow drying…I barely got a towel dry. I walk out of the William David Salon with water dripping down my neck.
The William David Salon pretty much let me know they could care less about me being a client. I am sure they need business, hence the reason they are on discount site (Scoutmob, Tipper, etc.). They do not care that walking out of THEIR establishment, I, for the second time, looked completely horrible. First time with the worst extensions known to any human and the second time with frizzy, soaking wet hair.

I would like to start by saying that a good hairstylist is hard to find, a great one is RARE!! I found rare at William David Salon.
I went to this Salon for several reasons. First being I was in desperate need for color correction. Second being the great line of products they carry, and third its location to my job. I also would like to tell you that I did use a Scout Mob for this salon, however, this was not my primary reason for going. I have found you have to be careful when selecting a salon based on price. A coupon isnt worth any amount of money if you end up with BAD HAiR! I will be a repeat customer of this salon with or without a Scoutmob.
I have to say I was a bit apprehensive at first because the location is Terminus Buckhead and I was afraid it would be a bit stuffy or snobby but it turns out everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful starting with the receptionist Jenna.
Denise took the time to go over EXACTLY what I wanted and had the task of correcting a horrible color applied by another salon (no name mentioning BOB STEELE) and a haircut I could have done myself. Sorry....bitter rant....
She took a lot of time with me and was not in the least bit flustered by her task at hand. She seemed sincerely excited to give me a new look and maybe even enjoyed the challenge of how to take broken orange hair and make it look glam! She did exactly that! I thought i was in good hands after just a few minutes but never thought i would get the result i did! She ROCKED and made me feel right at home for the entire appointment, right until I walked out the door.

I also have to say that while I was there I saw the work that Sam, Josh, and Bill David did and everyone looked fantastic! Just a great all around experience and am already looking forward to my April appointment!
Gift Certificate or contest win equals bad service!.
I would have left the salon yelling or crying if the esthetician had not been so great.
The problem: My hair is naturally curly and I went to get highlights, trim, and straighten with flat-iron. 1)My highlights are not the color we discussed plus look like they need to be touched up and I just left the salon. 2) I have gotten my own hair straighter with a flat-iron purchased from Sally's. 3) My certificate had a remainder of $145 and due to it being 5 pm when my hair was finished was told I could have half of the balance to return for a make-up application only.
I will be sticking with BOB STEELE SALON in ALPHARETTA, GA. Where they know how to treat clients and offer more than Kroger tea to help make your visit enjoyable. You get the most important thing great service.
Here is the story. I won a contest that offered $500 in services to help me prepare for my wedding. After winning no one ever called to inform me of rules. Well, since I am a planner by nature I am currently interviewing everyone NOW even though my event is in 2012. So, I decided a month after not hearing from the salon to use services now as a trial run. Seemed like a great idea since other make-up/hair bridal companies have suggested.
I called and spoke with a young lady who after informing me that the certificate had to be used in one day stated that I would have consultations with the esthetician and hair stylist to decide what services I would use. She booked me to start a noon and stated it should be plenty of time to use services and the certificate's amount. The salon manager called the day after I scheduled services and just reminded I had to use the total $500 in one day and that I couldn't bring anyone else to use it on. OK. Upon arrival I was greeted and introduced to who would be helping me. I over looked the quality of tea that was served after just asking if I wanted anything to drink. The esthetician, Pamela, first offered great services and she was great. Talking to me every step of the way. She walked me over to the hair stylist. After a sassy consultation and her acting annoyed with me because I showed concerned with her having to process my color in stages she began working. I watched her sharply joke with her co-workers, complain of not eating and talk over me to another client during the first process of coloring. During the second step she left at the sink and talked on her cell phone in the walkway. Then, to return and half straighten my hair. I tried to leave all comments to the end but felt pressured to say I liked the color before my curls were ironed out. To not get more attitude and prevent confrontation I simply said," it's ok".
Afterward, I went to the counter to see if I could see the esthetician again to use my balance. The manager stated the service that I wanted was not able to be used by a certificate and that there was no one in house to do a make-up application because wedding stylist and make-up artist have to be called in. Then, she explained that I was the first winner to come in way before the wedding to use services and it wasn't meant for that. I responded that I felt she wasn't being accommodating because I wanted to try the salon instead of being stuck with service that I might not like for a big event. All to be told that she was willing to split my difference for me to try a service that I hadn't been given and was allowed by the certificate, make-up $55, and I was hearing what I wanted to hear. WOW. Maybe I am crazy but I thought a certificate was the same as money. This was just on a card no rules attached. So, funny how I get all the rules after I try to use the certificate and as we go. No thank you.
Samantha is the STAR. Love William David Salon (especially the valet parking!), but Samantha Gunn is the star of the show! Hands down, the best colorist in Atlanta. Perfect every time! Nobody else comes close and nobody else touchs my hair...EVER!
