Her multi-talented son shook America's very foundation with his intelligent prose on strife in the inner city, and though he was mysteriously gunned down back in 1996, 2Pac's legacy lives on in immeasurable ways, none more obvious than this facility. Financed in large parts posthumous CD and DVD sales, the $4 million Center for the Arts features an art gallery, offices, rehearsal space for summer camps, gift shop and Peace Garden ith a bronze statue of the late rapper as its centerpiece.
