Truva. My wife and I were walking up to Peachtree for a look at the restaurants. We were walking by Truva and could not belive how great it smelled. Well we ended up walking back down to Truva. we sat at the bar and the bartender suggested 2 great apps. Then we had a Chicken Kabab and the Chef's special ribeye. Man was it worth walking back down to Truva. the service was great. the bellydancer was great. Most of all the whole night was perfect. Thanks to Jim and Mark for a great night.
bad experience. extremely expensive for a not so memorable experience. Food is standard Turkish(Greek.) Hummus was bland. Swordfish on a stick for over $20? Really? Dessert was awful. Cold, bland, burnt rice pudding glop! Only good thing was the bread and the olive-oil. Service is slow and clumsy. The waitstaff is untrained. Alcohol is out of this world expensive. Next time I will bring drinks in the car. No, wait a minute, there won't be a next time. Why pay $5 to park for an experience like this? Good question. Good luck. You're gonna need it!
Wow. My wife and I were downtown looking for something new to eat and someone mentioned Truva to us. The atmospere was plesantly relaxed and the service was excellent. We dine out quite a lot, but there are few places that thoroughly impresses us. We had the seafood salad and meat pastry as starters. All I can say is wow! The seafood was so fresh. For our dinner, we split the lamb chops and a filet that you could cut with a butter knife. The Lamb chops were the best I've ever had. The filet, with a mushroom sauce, put every restaurant in Atlanta to shame. We didn't have room for dessert but our server made us some great Turkish coffee while we enjoyed the belly dancer. WOW!!! If you haven't tried this place you need to!!!
Truva. In town for business and looking for a new restaurant in the downtown area. well we found it. the wine selection is spot on. Everything we had complemented the meal. We started with the Stuffed Eggplant....OUT OF THIS WORLD! Next the Lamb Shank is the best i had ever had. Meat so tender and sauce perfect. We finished with a Turkish after dinner drink Raki. Nice job to the owner , staff and the bartender.
New hot lounge with great European Eats in the city. My girlfriends and I wanted to try something new in the city and Truva was mentioned to me. We went and absolutely loved the food and scene. Must try with great service.
