What People Are Saying About Adios Cafe

In Short – Castleberry Hill’s No Mas Cantina has always stuck out. A place where you can buy your margarita pitcher after you drink it? An authentic hacienda attached to the restaurant? This in-house Mexican bakery and café completes the unique trio. Sure, you can get typical espressos and lattes, but Adios gives too many reasons not to order the ordinary. Coffees come laced with cinnamon, swirled with dark chocolate and spiced with chili de arbol. Wonderfully-fluffy empanadas boast fruit for the morning hours while real deal churros and chichorones make you feel like you’ve been…

Say "Hola" to "Adios"
by SFAALUMNI
If you are looking for a truly authentic Mexican breakfast with the best ambiance in town, look no further than Adios. I have been coming here for the last couple of years and look forward to Asia waiting on me. The coffee is organic and brought back to the US from Mexican farms. They have fresh Mexican pastries, chocolates, ice cream, and (my son's favorite) Churros. The place is rarely crowded and the Latin music is soothing and perfect for your meal.
MEXICAN BREAKFAST
by RTacoronti
What a wonderful breakfast spot in Atlanta. I have always loved unique eating places, unique to the city and does not exist anywhere else. This is it. The Mexican Coffees are wonderful, the deserts tasty as well as appealing and the breakfast burrito with avocado smoothered in tasty chili. Cannot wait to go back
GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE & OH SO MUCH MORE- ADios Cafe!!!
by Meals with Megan
Have you ever woken up on a weekend morning and wondered how you got to where you are? Why not take that feeling and satisfy it by heading to Mexico - well almost Mexico. ADios Café is a cheerful eatery that serves a brunch that will satisfy that Mexican craving.
The mastermind behind the success of No Mas! Cantina, Melody Voirin, is also the creator of an amazing brunch menu at ADios Café. She is undoubtedly one of the best chefs of Mexican cuisine in the city, if not the Southeast. To nurture her skills, Melody travels to various regions of Mexico several times a year and returns with tasty new recipes for those willing to venture beyond the typical Tex-Mex stuff. To awaken those sleepy taste buds, start with the somewhat tart fresh Strawberry Quesadilla. It’s so simple and oh so luscious. The strawberries are blended with cream cheese creating a euphoric yet lively concoction that’s spread between fresh flour tortillas and topped with a strawberry crema dulce. Enhance the wake-up experience with a fresh mango juice mimosa made with the crisp, bubbly Cristalino Brut Cava – guarantee that those sleepy eyes will start to twinkle.
There are some astonishing choices that will tantalize and tease anyone’s senses. The layered tastes of the Southwest Omelette that’s served with pan de queso is totally scrumptious. This dish is light as air but what savory flavors. Gracing this omellete is a freshly made sweet corn Pico de Gallo. It represents the beauty of harmonizing flavors together. This culinary celebration intensifies with each bite - absolutely delicious. The dish that will cause a pause after the first bite is the Huevos Benedictos – the jaw will drop in amazement as the flavors from the smoky applewood bacon intertwine with the sassy green chili hollandaise that graces the perfectly poached egg. The secret behind this dish is the roasted poblano peppers; it imparts a rich smokiness and spice to the sauce. This heavenly creation sits atop a freshly made seared mesa cake that’s made from corn meal sourced from Nora Mills Granary in North Georgia.
The ADios Café’s version of a Bloody Mary gets its touch of pizzazz from jalapeño, cilantro, and the splash of Cholula hot sauce that’s added to this exhilarating drink; it is so good you might as well plan on relaxing a bit longer, as you will want a second. Matching well with this classy brunch standard is the house signature dish, the otherworldly ADios- two eggs with a salsa verde resting on a pan fried cake that’s a blend of russet potato, spicy house-made chorizo, jalapeño, and sweet onions that’s surrounded by earthy black beans, and garnished with avocado slices – these bold zesty flavors are what true Mexican cuisine is all about. If a Bloody Mary isn’t your thing try the freshly made passion fruit nectar but with a splash of the ultra-premium Jose Cuervo Platino Tequila – life can’t get any better.
Since the hazy daze of yesterday should be long gone by now, why not begin to really enjoy the beauty of the day. A good cup of coffee would be in order to re-group a bit. At ADios Café the coffee is sourced from a fifth generation family organic coffee grower in the small mountain town of Jalisco. The rich tasting Café de Olla is perfectly brewed and giving it a distinctive flair is a pinch of cinnamon and chocolate. It is the perfect complement to the decadent house made truffles. These tasty morsels of ecstasy are simply sinful – it’s so nice to indulge every once in awhile.
Whether it’s brunch or simply needing a place to chill – ADios Café provides the perfect setting to relax, enjoy friendship, and watch the clouds drift by, and if you close yours eyes you just might think you are somewhere South of the Border. I’ll have that other Bloody Mary now…
Quaint Cafe!
by castilloerica
Across the patio from No Mas Cantina is this fabulous little cafe/coffee shop. I really was going to dinner at the restaurant, which I love, and I discovered this place while I was waiting around on a table. The cafe is the perfect spot for working or relaxing after a long night with the same decor as No Mas, but less of the party atmosphere. Of course, I had to take home one of their fabulous desserts, a cajeta blondie, the baristas choice, and wow was it amazing! She also informed us that they were open daily at 8am for breakfast, I for sure will be returning.
