Love this place!. If you are looking for a great meal, at a great price, definitely check out Urban Pl8. While unassuming and easy to miss of Huff Road, you will quickly realize the first time won't be your last. Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious - the scallops, the cheeseburger, the nutbuger, the chicken tagine, and how can I not mention the "Ellege" (toasted Krispy Kream donusts) for dessert!

Excellent Food. Went for lunch today. Just delicous. The chef is incredibly talented. Had squash soup that I could have eaten all day long. Chicken salad, yumm. My pal had the lamb tacos and a strip steak sandwich. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, just delightful. Not sure of the hours but I do know they're only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Supposed to go to more nights soon. People...you must check this place out!

Relaxing Place With Non-Traditional Selections. When someone recommends a restaurant that resides on a street with your last name, you feel compelled to check it out. The first thing that you will notice about Urban pL8, is that you might not notice it, and that is typically not a great thing to say about an eatery. However, once you locate this unique and unassuming building, the goodness begins. The menu selection is uniquely refreshing with items such as Lily’s Nut Burger, Greek-Style Lamb Burger, Vietnamese-Style Banh Mi Angus Burger and jalapeno coleslaw. The homemade hummus with fresh baked pita, is a must. There is a large selection for Vegans/Vegetarians as well, with tofu being a featured staple. This is especially true on the brunch menu where you find Vegan BBQ tofu and spiced pinto sausage in addition to jazzed-up traditional breakfast fare. My only complaint was the poor service due to understaffed servers. This is not enough to deter a future visit, but hopefully the powers-that-be will take notice.

Great restaraunt just a little hard to find. I don't work too far from Urban Pl8 and tried it out a few weeks ago. It was delicious. The first time I went I had the nut burger (Cant remember the actual name). It was a very tasty veggie burger. The funny thing is that I am not a vegetarian and thought it had meat when I ordered it. I was a little disappointed when I got it and realized that it was a veggie burger but all of the disappointment went away once I took a bite out of it. It was SO delicious. I've actually ordered it a few times since then. I also had the hummus as an appetizer which was really good as well. On other occassions since I've had the hangar steak pita and the pesto chicken omelet on their weekend brunch. Every thing I have gotten so far has been delicious and I definitely plan to keep going.

Refreshing menu, affordable, hip setting.. In Short
Without an idea of why the “L” is capitalized, and why the usage of a numeral in the name (90’s throwback?), the rest of this delicious off-the-beaten-path lunch nook is as easy to comprehend. All items are under seven bucks, the décor that includes Edison light bulbs and boxy lighting fixtures is simple and neat, and the food is fresh, forward, and tasty. An airy dining room and matching patio seats diners after ordering standouts like the blackjack tomato do-it-yourself bruschetta-like dish or the juicy, tangy sliced pork barbecue sliders with a finger-licking sauce mixed with jalapeño and corn slaw. The menu changes quite often to tailor to what veggies are in season, or whatever chef/owner Betsy Pitts (former sous chef at Atlanta fav’s Bacchanalia and Floataway Café) hopes to share.

Want a Burger. Every so often, you just NEED a cheeseburger--not some tofu/turkey burger, a REAL burger. The next time this mood hits (and it will), bypass Flip, Steak 'N Shake and Johnny Rockets and bee line to Urban pL8.

Angus beef, perfect tomatoes, crisp lettuce, sliced pickles, mayo/mustard and it's EXACTLY what you wanted.

It offers a limited, but good, beer selection and an odd list of "house" cocktails that sound both healthy and lethal at the same time.

If you haven't been over to this part of town lately, it's well worth the trip and Urban pL8 is worth the visit.
