“The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was light and fun.”
“Also the banana pudding and the chocolate burbon ice cream were both very delicious”
“like BBQ joints, but I like drinking beer and eating really good BBQ at the bar with friendly people and getting a real good vibe off the whole scene even better.”
“Im not a huge bbq fan because I dont love bbq sauce, but the way they smoke their meat gives it the most amazing smokey barbecue flavor!”
“As a certified KC BBQ Society judge, I have an extensive knowledge of the qualifications, styles, and tastes for great BBQ.”
“DBA BBQ is my new favorite barbecue restaurant in Atlanta!”
“like BBQ joints, but I like drinking beer and eating really good BBQ at the bar with friendly people and getting a real good vibe off the whole scene even better.”
“and a great value.”
Great for groups and families; I usually get the pulled pork or the ribs. They also have a unique mixed drink menu for those looking for something a little different
Awesome barbecue and friendly staff. Love the smoked turkey and pulled pork. Meat so good, it doesn't even need barbecue sauce. Although the spicy sauce is really good. Love Matt the owner and friendly staff. Great place to hang out, have a beer or two and a great sandwich. In fact I think I'll head over there now!
Smoke is in the air. There is no other BBQ restaurant like it in Atlanta, an actual neighborhood restaurant that has great smoked barbecue and it is not a joint! I like BBQ joints, but I like drinking beer and eating really good BBQ at the bar with friendly people and getting a real good vibe off the whole scene even better.
Best BBQ in town. Have been having lunch and dinner in the place for about two months. Everything is great, the pulled pork is over the top. Brisket, Chicken, Turkey, ribs(both spares and Baby Backs) and even smoked tofu! Will be going back soon and often
A city slicker barbecue spot melds styles in VaHi.. Far from a shack, the city-feeling and slightly upscale D.B.A. seeks to be a jack of all barbecue trades. Instead of focusing on one region’s ‘cue (Texas brisket or Memphis ribs) about every conceivable style of meat is represented. The heaping helpings of pulled pork or baby backs will leave you with a doggie bag and the long list of imaginative sides aim to please everyone. Be a true southerner and opt for the braised collards and creamed (not creamy but very well seasoned) corn instead of the corn grits that go down like a liquefied corn muffin. The fried pickles are tangy and lightly breaded though served as a duo with heart-busting deep fried bacon proves to be a bit too much. Everyone can find something they like here, but to us, that’s not how true ‘cue works
