Over 30 years of receiving excellent service.
by Peggy Hendrix
I have been a customer of Layfield Motors Service, Inc for over 30 years. My pattern is to buy a good late model car and keep it for 11 - 13 years. Layfield's has done all the work on all my cars. They are extremely professional, thorough, and stand by their work. I took my car in for the first time after another garage had said I needed a major front end repair. I didn't telll them about the other garage and just asked them to change the oil and check the front end. When they said the front end was OK, I asked if there was any wear. They said it was just normal wear for the age of the car and was OK. My experience is they are completely trustworthy.
They are located in downtown Atlanta just 2 blocks from the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park.
I have referred many people to Layfield's over the years. I recommend them very highly.

OUTSTANDING IN EVERY ASPECT
by tcgriffin
I have been taking our company cars to Layfield Motors for over 10 years. They ALWAYS perform to the highest standards. On many occasions they have diagnosed a problem and referred me to a dealer because the problem was covered under a manufacturers warranty. I always feel confident that they are going to diagnose the problem and fix it without trying to push other service or products on me. I would recommend them to everyone.
Outstanding Quality at Layfield
by JNElliot
I have been taking our cars to Layfield for about 30 years and have enjoyed working with both Nap and Calvin.
They pinpoint exactly what is wrong with your car. They keep abreast of training and use the latest diagnostic equipment, which they combine with their in-depth knowledge of engines.
Once they have determined the problem, the quality of the repair is first rate. In some cases, I've had the replacement part, such as a water pump or alternator, last longer than the original factory equipment.
You can depend on them for honesty and integrity. Neither Nap or Calvin will try to sell you a repair you don't need. At some repair shops, you get the feeling they want to maximize the charge for each visit. Not so with Layfield. They want to attract customers for life, not charge the max on a single visit.
Honest professionals - believe me...I know!

I've taken my cars to Layfield since 1998. I never left Layfield feeling cheated or scammed. in the first few years, I would compair multiple quotes and service recommendations. I discoverd that Layfield was honest 100% of the time. I no longer waste time and money on other mechanics. I go directly to Layfield. I only go to the dealer when absolutely necessary.
I won't take my car anywhere else.

I have been a customer at Layfield for more than 18 years, and from my very first visit, I knew they would treat me right, because they didn't want to charge me until they had completed their work. They don't try to perform unncessary repairs and will tell you if your car doesn't need a particular service. Their prices are reasonable, and they absolutely stand behind the work they do. They maintain good records, so they know what has been done to your car and what service is due. The only reason I have driven my cars for so long before trading them in is the excellent care they get from Layfield. I trust them completely with my car, and I won't take it anywhere else! They are the best.
