Great lil find. This place is not bad at all!

I like my ciders (usually go for a Woodchuck or Strongbow, but I'll try anything) and this place has em in gads. Not to mention they have a pretty big selection of other things here as well.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable for sure - I was actually "educated" about different types of beers :)

Great beer + sneaky good wines. I can get lost for days in Hop City. You go in thinking you have a solid game plan... but once your inside you realize you've just spend 10 minutes gazing at the selection. And what a selection it is. My lady was pumped to grab the apparently hard-to-find Bell's Double Cream Stout, I was just excited they had Rogue beer in those tall single-bottles. But what's had me coming back lately is actually the wine. Ever since having a ridiculous bottle of barbera at Sotto Sotto, I've been on the hunt. And I found a great one at Hop City. They only had one type, and it was from California and not Italy, but ... the 2006 Scott Harvey is an outstanding bottle. And the fact that it only costs $16 or something certainly helps the cause.

My beer haven. When I moved to west midtown I saw Hop City and knew it was going to be my next shop for all my beer needs. When I actually walked inside I was even more blown away. Not only did they supply nearly every beer from my favorite breweries (Stone, Great Divide, Abita), they had seasonal ales I haven't been able to get a hold of in at least a year.

The staff is full of wine aficionados and beer guru's, who are more than happy to help. They'll even set you up with everything you need to brew yourself!

Their supply is similar to what you would find at Greens, but they sport quite a few rare selections you can't find anywhere else in Atlanta. If you are on the lookout for a specific beer, this place is your best bet.

AWESOME Selection of Craft Beers. This Wine and Beer store is amazing- seriously, they have every possible kind of beer you could imagine....and a great selection of wines too - everything is really easy to find and the staff is so knowledgeable, they'll help you find the perfect bottle (great prices too!)

Something really cool about Hop City is you can "create your own 6 pack" - they have a whole shelf of single beers you can try all different kinds- love it!!

Highly recommend

Cheers!. Hop City definitely lives up to its hype of being Atlanta's first craft beer specialty store. Having shopped throughout town, I was amazed to find one of the most unique and complete selections around. No more aimless hunting for your favorite brew. Hop City smartly organizes by type – lager, ale, dark, etc. – and shelves in alphabetical order. Staff knows their stuff cold and always recommends something new (and good). Plenty of free parking. Double down by dining at the new Five Seasons Brewery next door and then hitting Hop City for a doggy bag.
