Great experience! – After three in-home quotes from national companies who sent used-car salesmen to our house I called Atlanta Peach on a rec from a friend. With 6 days to our move, Randy called me immediately and provided my very accurate and super fair quote and supplied me with all the materials I needed at the deposit time. Come moving day Tre and his crew showed up and were super courteous to my fiancee and I and also so perfectly efficient and careful! We moved 6000lbs 150mi in one day, had 0 issues or damage, and got everything in and placed exactly as we wanted. There we absolutely no delays, no issues, and no surprises with the service or the pricing.
Thanks so much to Randy and especially Tre's crew for making our move as easy on us and successful as possible! Beginning to end they made something seemingly seedy and slimey a very trustworthy and easy experience, with so little effort or stress for us! best movers in atlanta – First of all they quoted me a not to exceed price, which no one else would do. Second of all, they quoted me a lower rate per hour and less hours than anyone else. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, they were courteous and kind. They were strong and did not take a break and we are talking about a AUGUST move!!! They had me moved into my new home in less time than quoted which saved me money and nothing had a single scratch on it. I was so happy with them I tipped them each $100.00 dollars which they deserved...they worked like dogs and wanted to make me happy and relieve the stress I was feeling about leaving my home and going into a new one. I really enjoyed the way Atlanta Peach Movers handled my moving needs. They were very professional, and they literally catered to all of my needs. The staff that set everything up over the phone were very polite and helpful,....even with my long distance needs! I have very expensive furniture to include a Baby Grand Piano, and they did not nick, dent, or damage any of my possessions! Atlanta Peach Movers is GREAT! – As a home loan office in Atlanta, we are constantly referring home owners to moving companies. We were using Atlanta Peach Movers ourselves to relocate several offices. When our customers started using them, we heard nothing but fantastic reviews.
Atlanta Peach is a big enough company to handle any move, yet they still have that personal touch. We had an associate whose mother-in-law unexpectedly passed away. He called the day before her house needed to be emptied and moved over 1,000 miles away. He knew it was a long shot scheduling such a move in less than 24 hours, but Atlanta Peach was happy to accommodate. This made everything easier on the family and they will be lifelong Atlanta Peach customers.
We move small items from office to office regularly and Atlanta Peach is always accommodating to any size move we have. They are professional, courteous and incredibly trained at their jobs.

The Most Professional Moving Company!!!! – At Atlanta Peach Movers they have the attitude that training is everything!!! They actually have a mock house set up on their site where they train their staff! They were honest, timely and clean. They treated my belongings as if they were important to them as well. I was thrilled with my experience at Atlanta Peach and would recommend them to anyone who needed a mover!
Good Price. Dishonest Employees? Disappointing Claim Process – Pricing was competitive with other moving companies, and the quote was returned in a timely fashion.
We moved from one rental apartment community to another and had 3 items damaged in the process.
The first was a television. While one of the movers was carrying the unit into our bedroom, we heard a loud crash in the bedroom. When we entered and inquired as to the problem, the man assured us that everything was fine. When connecting our television to the DVD player later that day, we noticed that the plastic case in the back of the televsion was cracked around the AV connections. The AV connections were also not functioning anymore. We submitted this claim within the week.
An appointment to inspect the damage was arranged by telephone, but no one from the moving company came to our home at the specified time. No one called to cancel. No one called to reschedule.
Approximately two months following our move, the company informed us that since we did not witness the damage directly or submit the claim on the day of our move, our claim could not be honored. They did give us a $50 token.
The second item was a desk. The front cross-strut was cracked where it supported the legs. This was not the case prior to the move. The desk had been assembled in the previous apartment and had not been moved since. This was noticed a few weeks after the move as we do not crawl underneath desks on a routine basis.
This claim was not accepted because it had not been filed with the first claim. Unfortunately, the company's claim documentation does not state that all claims must be filed simultaneously. The company also asserted that since the moving arrangements had been made in one of our names instead of both, only one of us was their customer. This belied the fact that the unlisted roommate signed documents and made the required payments on the moving day.
The third item was a roller on the bottom of a chest of drawers. It also had been assembled in the previous apartment and had not been moved since. The cracked roller was taped together with packing tape, so that it would stay on the chest of drawers. It appeared this was an attempt to conceal the issue.
We have two concerns with this experience: the less than forthright employees and the fidelity of the claims process. We would have appreciated if the movers had admitted when the the television was dropped or when the roller wheel was damaged. These are not expensive items to repair or replace, but still there appeared to be an effort to conceal the problems.
Rather than just honoring the claim, which likely would have totalled less than $150, the company sought to invalidate our concerns on the basis of flimsy technicalities.
We would not use this company again nor recommended its services.
